For some reason youtube tends to destroy quality on some of my video uploads so I'm just playing around to try and getting the right settings.
But also Fallout 3 really was a vibe!
New Vegas had the story, but 3 had that incredible aesthetic and atmosphere. The real ones see the merits in both games and enjoy both.
It certainly feels like one, playing it for the first time ever, I recently beat 4 and New Vegas, both have been vibes in it of themselves whether it’s going through an absolutely crazy story in the desert, or absolute modding madness in the East, it’s been an experience, just wondering what DC will have in store because I like the Capitol Building. I wouldn’t consider myself a big Fallout fan, at all, but despite the highs and lows of what I had to experience from those 2 games, I had a lot of fun and emotional moments, I’m excited to see what the other games will offer, as I plan to play 1 and 2 as well, apologies for the long comment, figured I’d share my thoughts, and this video got recommended to me!
The 1 and 2 are the all time classics, you should definitely play them. They might seem to be much harder that the newer games, but it’s not true at all, you’ll just need to get used to the local mechanics, and you’ll definitely enjoy these games.

It’s crazy when the enclave came around the t51 power armor that was so hard to acquire became obsolete for us to use compared to the hellfire and xo-2 power armor the only reason we gamers would wear the t51 once we got it was based off rarity and coolness factor

I miss this game because the wasteland felt so much more desolate. You felt ALONE. Just you and the ruins, occasionally interrupted by a horror of the Hellscape. The verticality and twisted urban wastes of F4 are really cool but the map is so crowded I never feel alone, never have a time to just think about and FEEL the world... it doesn't feel expansive. You need "empty" space to contrast what's there. Plus, I like how much DARKER this one feels... when my friend group and I started, cracking that first vault opon and exploring whatever happened to the people inside had all of us on on edge, sneaking around and dreading who or what would emerge from the darkness, for no reason except the thick atmosphere... thick VIBE. Even the first school outside of Vault 101 taken over by raiders had us hiding in rooms, sneaking and looting, out of the sheer sense of ominous danger. F4 doesn't deliver that. Never once was I afraid in F4. In Boston, the scariest thing is me.

i love the atmosphere of fo3 more than fo4. the green radioactive tint is really something else

I dont understant why people hate the green tint in fallout 3, i know it can make the game looks disgusting but maybe that was the point of it.
i must be color blind, i've never understood what people are talking about.
