Lovely fun video. So happy my sister and I aren’t the only ones who go on virtual holidays. We live hundreds of kilometres apart but every day we use the World Walking app to go for a real walk. We have ‘walked’ through several countries. Today we are on our last night in Montenegro and tomorrow we are heading to Easter Island. Each day we do the actual walking to an agreed distance. We then map map that real distance on a virtual walk. We also take turns choosing a virtual accommodation and often a virtual restaurant. We have done virtual walks in several countries (plus a few real walks in Spain and Japan). We have learned a lot about the culture, food and geography of other countries and have had great fun in the process. We like having the incentive to do real walking 6 days out of 7 (we have Sundays off) and we enjoy the sister connection on a daily basis. I don’t usually tell people about it fearing they would think us crazy but it is crazy fun, it’s keeping us fit and it’s free.

Such fun! I walk to Ikea sometimes and then sit with a book or paper with a coffee. Then look around and have a vegan hotdog. Frugal fun. Also enjoy making collages from old magazines. No need to spend lots for a good week off
