I’ve owned this pistol for about week now. The quality is pretty decent & feels really solid. I can confidently say that it will make it through 2 full mag dumps but then the slide gets too cold and freezes up. I was shooting it outside. I’ll probably get better performance when it’s the summer time.
yeah just make sure you take the hop adjuster off and wipe off the grease from the rubber o-ring underneath or it will fall out of adjustment very easily under use.
@@lilwillie5854 Basically its an adjustment of the backspin given to the BBs as they leave the pistol. The backspin makes them fly straighter due to the Magnus effect. It needs to be adjusted for different BB weights and hop systems vary in their efficiency.
Another great video overview. Thanks for your content especially the detailed stuff regarding internals etc. Can't wait to see the AAP-01 in Germany (without full-auto function). Cheers!
just ordered one of these yesterday!! Stoked to get it!! Cant wait to stick a crazy jet barrel in it with a 60 degree maple leaf hop rubber!! It will help lose some of that FPS too. Def need an extended mag. As for holsters and mag drops, just do like we do with MK23s, fabricate a bit of bungee cord or elastic to keep your mags in the gun.
I've got one of these on pre order. Watched a video from kickingmustang where he managed to get it hopping .4 bbs and was hitting a (larger) target at 68m.
Bigbird, here is an update for you on the AAP-01. I finally got mine about a month ago. The stock hop rubber and barrel are Meh, OK. But not great. So a small upgrade can make a HUGE difference. As an experiment I had a 150 mm crazy jet barrel lying around. So I upgraded to a 150mm crazy jet barrel and a 60 degree maple leaf autobot hop rubber. The jury is still out on whether or not I will need to " I" key the hop arm. in order to use this long barrel (same one I used to use in my Mk23) you will need the suppressor adapter and an appropriate suppressor length to cover the barrel. But the difference in hop adjustment and range is phenomenal. I also added the folding stock and enhanced magwell. These upgrades have effectively turned this gun into a gbb smg or a semi auto sniper depending on your fire mode. Pair this with my silverback or my striker - "here kiddie kiddie come find me". You were terrified of snipers before- now I've really got something for you!! I would also like to add for those reading...you will never suppress a gbb pistol..the suppressor is only functional to cover the new longer inner barrel..so I suggest you buy the inner barrel first and then measure how long your suppressor needs to be, if you do it right your inner barrel should set right up against the end of the suppressor.
Ghostwalker Airsoft Tech that’s awesome! Thinking about it, I’ve got a spare 1911 PDI barrel in my spares, I might give it a go. I’ve also got a couple of Flamingo rubbers I’ve been meaning to try. I’ve been running my TM MP7 with my silverback, but it’s not and ideal loadout.
Love the video, with its lightweight, locked down barrel, low moving mass to kick around sights and being able to accept standard glock 17 mags I imagine this could be a good speedsoft pistol
@@ghostwalkerairsofttech1947 I run Vorsk and Raven just fine. Yeah, they are shit... but they work and seem to cause about as much problems as my WE mags. Short ones are ok but extended... like fuck me sideways, whoever thought of that design of locking bottom plate should hang by the balls.
