  • 81 years after the last westbound Colorado & Southern Railway passenger train left Como, Colorado in 1937, I retraced part of its journey by car on the remaining right-of-way in 2018. Along the way, former railroad locations and structures are pointed out. This segment cover one mile from the summit of Boreas Pass to the site of Farnham Spur.

I just rode my motorcycle over Boreas pass from Breckenridge to Como and back last month. (July 2023) Had a great time. Thanks for posting!

Really enjoyed this. Spectacular scenery. Loved the pictures interspersed and train noises.

The scenery is truly amazing. The South Park must have the most spectacular scenery of all the Colorado narrow gauge lines-though that also made the maintenance of the line so hard it probably killed it off in the end.
