I just wanted to mention two other songs from the game that I think are very good: A Place In The Sun White All Around Us These songs always give me chills everytime I hear them.
@Not A Cat White All Around Us is also another underrated track that gets overshadowed by One Last You, I love the use of the Inn theme at the beginning
Xenoblade 2 was undoubtedly the most important release for the series and boomed its popularity. The game has its flaws, sparked a ton of controversy, but it's incredible in every way and holds a special place to my heart. I literally have a scar on my hand from accidentally cutting myself when opening my special edition box aha. So yeah it's sticking with me no matter what! Much love to the Xenoblade community and if the game ever gets a remaster down the line. FIX URSULA!
@@andr0zzsenpai same with me, but I didn't like the first chapter and I know many people hated chapters 2, 3 and 4. I liked them (though 4 was a bit annoying) but I mainly said that because the overall fan consensus is that the first few chapters are bad
@@enegizedadamyou should enjoy 2, while it was built for weeks that love goth gf tig ol bitties the story is incredible. The plot twist goes so crazy it almost made me fall more in love with it, solid story, solid content, questionable character design and impressionable game.
Xeno 2 touched me and pulled me in right away. You know how with age we lose passion and ability to care for stuff. Xeno 2 made me care, wanting to know what happens next. I felt like a kid again. Certainly the most precious memories of the last few years.
Unpopular opinion, but it is mine and i don't care what anyone else thinks. Xenoblade 2 is my favorite of the Triology. My favorite cast of characters. My favorite Soundtrack. My favorite story. It isn't in my top 3 games of all time, but it does crack my top 10 games of all time. I know the voice acting always gets shit on, but it wasn't bad voice acting, it was bad voice directing. Also if i'm not mistaken this was the first ever voice acting job for Rex's VA. Maybe for Pyra's as well, but i could be mistaken. I honestly wouldn't mind if they remade this game one day with the same voice actors but given them a better voice director. I didn't cry my first time playing this game, but i did cry my 2nd and 3rd time playing. Hell, i still cry to this game knowing full well what is happening. My biggest complaint is the random rolls of blades.
I played Xenoblade Chronicles 2 some time ago but haven't finished it yet ( I plan to do that soon) and while the first few chapters were slow it allowed me to understand how different the world is compared to Shulk's world in the first game and who the protagonist is. After that I started loving almost all of the characters in the story from Rex, Pyra, Mythra and Nia, etc. I feel like each of their stories are told when necessary and it builds up. I also like how sometimes the characters relax and have heart-to-heart moments with each other during those times. (Take the hot-spring scene for example, between Mythra, Nia and Poppy. Or Rex and Pyra talking over a campfire together.) I was also aware of the controversy surrounding the game and it got me curious about it. From what I could tell it was "those" kind of people on Twitter getting upset over fictional women, thinking it somehow applies to real individuals, even going so far as calling the game "misogynist." And yet when I played it myself I saw how the controversy was exaggerated and the fanservice doesn't overshadow the characters or story. While I do find the appearance of Pyra or Mythra appealing I also like how they are backed up by real character personalities. Honestly Pyra and Mythra are good examples of real strong female characters and not the type that has been thrown around before in the media.
Malos' thoughts on whether or not his actions were his own felt very similar to Shulk's inner struggle with you-know-who. It was an interesting parallel beyond both of them just having a Monado.
I would love, perhaps a couple of years from now, a Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Definitive Edition. It should have proper English lip-synching (a la XC3), corrected, revamped and accessible tutorials, streamlined field skills, Torna: The Golden Country included, improved performance -- many of the quality of life changes that XC1 got in its Definitive Edition and XC3 brought about. I feel like this game deserves it.
YES. ALL OF THIS. Call this a hot take, but I’d want this after, only after, a new console releases (and for XC2DE to release on said console). After all, what’s the point blowing $60-90 on a game that, for the most part, you already own? Other than that, I agree with every word, but I would especially prioritize better tutorials (even copy-pasting 2/3 of the Torna tutorials, which are still surprisingly base-game relevant, would work in my opinion) and character menus. Why character menus? Because they can be quite vague, lacking damage modifiers, critical modifiers, or even any decent level 4 special information. Better and more accurate phrasing for certain battle skills (or even certain item descriptions) would also help. Sure, I could always look this stuff up, but having a single source for this info would help a lot, as well as make playing the game more fun and less annoying. I’d imagine many would appreciate that, myself included.
I feel like if they included torna, they should definitely remove the sidequest requirement or at least heavily lower it. I've still not beat torna since I have to get to community level 4
Xb2 holds a special place in my heart, I got into the series by hearing the music and the fact it’s about swords. Like a dumass I thought u had to play the first one before part 2 so I did
The English voice acting is awesome in my opinion. Different accents for different races / blades is so cool. And they did such a good job with the translating. Yes, Rex sounds a bit annoying, but that fits his character. He's just a kid who came to access a great power - and two beautiful women. I would probably sound the same 😅 (And he sounds more mature toward the end.) Edit: You point these things out later in the video. Good job! The lip-syncing never bothered me, but I'm still very glad they improved this in XBC3! Awesome video!
@@ShiftedPyro This was an excellent look back at (one of) my favorite game(s). I'm still not sure if I like 2 or 3 more. I think I'll give it another 5 years... 😅
@Shifted Pyro honestly, the accents are part of why even when trying to do a play through with JP voice acting, I couldn't get past the first Zeke cutsene because I was so used to hearing the accents
I think XB2 plus DLC is by far the best of the entire series. The worldbuilding, the characters and their arcs and the gameplay are just top notch. But first let’s see if the XB3 DLC will blow our minds lol
Amazing video. I can tell this video took a really long time to make but it sums up everything about the game perfectly. I only recently just got into Xenoblade around 2 to 3 years ago and decided to play XC2 as my first ever one. Needless to say but I absolutely loved it and it became my favorite game of all time. This game means so much to me and I’ll never forget my very first time playing as it holds so much personal meaning to me especially because of the events that were going on in my life at the time and how I felt. I don’t think I would be where I am today without this game
watched it til the end and I appreciate your work this reminds me of when I played xc2 for the first time. So magical, my fav game in this franchise and potentially the best story ever made in peak fiction❤
Thank you for your time and effort to honor my favorite game of all time after this last year full of Xenoblade stuff. There wasn't a lot of good things last year on a greater scale but everything about Xenoblade and its great community brought many fond memories and new visions on life and society as we know it. Your video made me tear up a few times but not in sadness 😅🍀. Can't wait for the DLC story of Xenoblade 3 and maybe meeting Rex and the others again.
Xenoblade 2 is one of my absolute favorite games ever. The characters, the world, the music, the combat, it all just comes together so wonderfully. I was also in a pretty bad place in 2017 and early 2018, and the story and world of Rex, Pyra and everyone put me on a path to truly healing. I love this game.
Xenoblade 2 was what absolutely captivated me. 1 was good, but 2 solidified me as a diehard fan. 100% every single game after going through 2. I played X but didn't 100% that one.
I got into this game through Smash not too long ago. Honestly, aside from the controversy, this is one of the best stories I've played. I really enjoy the combat. The combat had great emotions, it never felt too boring, and my favorite character is hands down the zekenator
So when I played this game I did not realize that it was a game written by Takahashi who is my favorite game story writer of all time. So I remember reaching the revelation about Klaus and being like "wtf is that a Zohar?". Then looking back all kinds of small stuff stood out to me. Zeke is a lot like Bart, Poppi having an Emerelda color, the crazy lore on the Siren box, the Aegis core crystals are also Zohar, the pod Pyra is in at the beginning of the game is similar to the one Elly was in, Indol has a lot of parallels to Ethos, and it just just dawned on me that Takahashi is still trying to cook. Holy shit. As someone who's a diehard fan of the golden era of games, someone who's still trying in modern day to cook and that person is the one who made my favorite game, you really can't put it into words how special Xenoblade 2 is. 1 I actually like quite a lot since it's a very on the nose allegory of gnostic lore which is also very Takehashi, but 2 there is no way you can't see what he was trying with 2 and then with the release of Future Redeemed and even the ending with Joann Hogg, I've never been more excited about what kind of crazy stuff Monolithsoft will come up with.
This is an incredible entry with some of my favourite characters and music pieces in the entre series and along with release of Torna made the whole experience even better. The way overblown sexualization controversy came from the usual loud minority of prudes. Pyra/Mythra also got added to Smash for good reason as they beloved fantastic characters :-)
I'd still call this THE best Switch game, by far; not only does it have stunning views (environmental and...otherwise, heh), but the characters are brilliant and the gameplay still holds up. I consider it a major improvement upon Xenoblade Chronicles Wii, and it manages to be more fun than XC3, surprisingly enough (yeah, I was quite disappointed with 3). The number of updates released for this game is frankly amazing, fixing many of its initial flaws while adding in plenty of new stuff - even making New Game + actually worthwhile, unlike XC Wii, XC:DE and XC3. While it still has some issues (Core Crystals being unpaid gacha, collectible locations not being labelled, field skills can be fiddly, Shield Hammers suck, some Blades having only 1 Aux Core slot when others have 2 or even 3 and there not being an 'Aux Core Expansion' item like there are for Pouches and Accessories, etc.), some of these were rectified in Torna: The Golden Country, and I still love this game regardless. Except for Massive Melee Mythra; that was a major mistake, making the Light Blade's most striking colour dark grey/black instead of, y'know, white or cream or whatever. It's also the best Crit rate Up Aux Core in the game, so it's massively frustrating. The music is wonderful, each Titan is unique and a different experience from the last, and the story...I love it.
I could say everything you did and more, but I really want to be with you here on the music. The game for sure wouldn't have been a success without it. It's not just that it's a legendary composition fitting the names associated, it and the direction go hand and hand PERFECTLY. It's practically a miracle how the different teams were able to work so well together. If there's a jrpg with better music thematics let me know. There isn't an ost in gaming I've experienced that makes me cry more and reassess life on the spot. ESPECIALLY with how it's connected to my man Etika.
I literally finished my replay after playing all of torna the golden country. The way it made the story of Jin so much more impactful really struck me. This game has been my favorite for a long time but this recent play through solidified that position. Truly the most incredible game I’ve ever played
For me, the most important aspect of the game is the soundtrack. Every time I play this game, I discover something new about it, like the way Mitsuda uses the themes used in the title theme and Elysium in the blue sky throughout the game. There are so many moments in the game where you can here those melodies and your mind just brightens up. So except to a few exceptions, when we are looking at the soundtrack, this game is the biggest contribution to the series. You can really feel, how the the music director from XC3 (Which is also Mitsuda) learned from this experience and made it exactly like it and it turned out to be incredible. So when the music part came up in this video you really put my feelings into words. Thank you for that. Great Video tbh. :)
This game is my introduction to the series, technically Smash 4 because of Shulk. Xeno 2 was out for a few days and I decided to watch the cutscenes on a whim, I didn't have any interest before but I was hooked by the story and characters. I just had to go out and buy it and the rest is history. I am dedicated enough to have the Nia figure pre-ordered. Excellent video.
I got into XBC through the Definitive Edition of XBC1, and then followed along to Future Connected, XBC2, Torna, XBC 3, and Future Redeemed. But nothing compares to the reveal that Klaus' actions were the cause of both worlds in XBC1 and XBC2. Greart freaking series!
I always knew that Xenoblade existed mainly because of Shulk being in smash 4. though after seeing Pyra and Mythra join smash, that was it for me, I fell in love with the franchise and saved all my money just to buy the games. Xenoblade is now honestly my favorite series of all time. and Xenoblade 2 is just my favorite game of all time
XB2 is the game that I have experienced the most feelings inside of me and I thank with all my heart that this was my first title to enter the entire franchise, a game too special for me and I keep all the special affection in the world for it❤️
Xenoblade 2 hold a special place in my heart and probably the first game that I wish I could turn back time to play it fresh again and experience everything for the first time again. Still remember the joy that I finally understand the combat system and auto cancel when I reached chapter 3.
Awesome video! One track we cannot forget though is "We are the Chosen Ones", which is the theme that plays in Indol at night. Since you cant travel to indol after chapter 7 I think, its not the most remembered songs, but the lead male vocalist shines here even more than he does in the theosoir night theme. Perfectly represents the imperialistic views of Amalthus and the people of Indol, thinking their way of life is superior and must be spread. Gives me chills every time.
Started this game on December 2018 as my first nintendo game, it inspire me and appreciate jrpgs and artists who work hard on it. When pyra and mythra on came out on smash there was no more physical copys. I will love this game till the day I die. Thank you wholesome doujinshi. Thank you Rex beyond gigachad.
This was one of my very first game in the series and I'm having a blast. Although I'm not really a big fan of the field skills and I did get lost in occasions but overall I'm really enjoying it and that what matters
First of all fuck you for making me sit through Tomorrow with You again bc I have yet to listen to that song and not cry to this day. But no fr this was awesome to watch and hear your thoughts! Always gotta love movie length Xenoblade analyses and critiques. Thanks for doing this and all you do for the community 🙏🏼🤌🏼💞
1:02:10 oh you don't know how much this song made me cry in the finale. I feel like personally its a masterpiece and one of a kind of a game that cannot be replicated :)
I still remember back in 2020, where Chuggaaconroy started his playthrough of Xenoblade 2 for the channel. Both during covid times, and all I knew until that point was Shilk in Smash. I enjoyed all the moments of of the early chapters including Rex dying at the start and Azurda's temporary death. Though the real kicker that got me fascinated and emotionally struck early on was the ending of chapter 3. Sometimes I do regret that I watched the whole game instead of play for myself, but it led to me doing that for Xenoblade 3 out of pure excitement that 2 gave me, and a lucky find in November I bought 2 for myself. Currently in chapter 8, and having a blast.
It's my favorite game in the franchise its aged alot better than xc3 already. I hope xc4 follows xc2 blueprint for designing the world and combat but ditch the whole gacha blade thing that's the only part of the game I think was objectively bad.
Amazing video! So much work must have gone into making it. :D On a video discussing the ending scene, I wrote this detail I noticed about the end scene: The ending scene is probably my favorite scene but I will give credit to the directors for setting it up. All the way back in chapter 2, the scene where they break in to the prison ship to save Nia, a lot is set up. First we see the grapple hook, how Rex can use it to reach far of places, but in of itself he can't pull up Pyra, but Poppi can use her strength in combination with Rex to help Pyra. Also Gramps mentors Rex in how to treat a woman. Fast forward to the very end, at the bridge (spoilers) The scene follows the same structure set up from all the way back in chapter 2. The grapple hook is not enough to save Pyra/Mythra, and we get a small moment as a viewer to think of and alternative. That's right: Poppi! But the game already set up "something" with Poppi, and based on her facial expression, we know that option isn't available either. And who flies in and gives Rex some final words of wisdom? Gramps. It is a masterful setup, even if we don't notice it ourselves, our brain sees the pattern. (Insert Mr. Plinkett's voice clip) and I think that is why the scene hits so hard.
XB2 is my first Xenoblade game and it also holds a special place in my heart and while I admit it's a rough gem due to some wonky Voice acting, rough performance (Specially on handheld), some questionable character design from the blades and the slow start of the plot... I still think it paves the way for the great release of Xenoblade 3.. Which finally opens the series to a broader audience thanks to it's nomination to GOTY..
I remember buying xenoblade 2 day one the only got to chapter 2 and stopped then later on I bought Xenoblade Definitive Edition after the xenoblade 3 first got shown and then after I beat it I finish two. The only info I had was about the games was the first two happens at the same time and the the queens were past party partners
I hope one day XC2 can get the XC Definative edition treatment and touch up the voice work and syncing, as well as smooth out some of the technical issues with the game. It's still my favourite in the series, but I would love to see a version with all the rough edges smoothed out.
I still believe that xenoblade 2 has the deepest, richest, and most mature story in the series. Yes, seriously. It’s easy to pass it off as weeb anime trash from some of the earlier scenes, but holy shit, the later chapters represent a height in storytelling that is completely unparalleled to me. The world is so rich, and the story is so incredible intricate and underappreciated. It’s better than 1s plot AND 3s, I don’t care what anyone says.
Xenoblade 2's story is the type where the more you think about it, the better it gets. Every time I revisit the story, I kept finding out something new, and it just kept getting deeper and deeper when I just thought about it more and more. There are so many nuances to the characters and writing that's so easy to miss the first time around, but being able to see it all and fully understand the characters, it's so amazing. While Xenoblade 1's story is good, it's not that deep, except for Melia. Melia is the one exception where she's a lot deeper than most people think she is. Xenoblade 3 has very well written main characters, but purposefully cartoonish evil villains, except for a few like N, who I wouldn't say is as deep as Jin is. I think Xenoblade 2 has the best blend of well written and deep characters with a really expansive lore that's insane to think about, and very well executed villains. It's kinda like how The Wind Waker is the best written version of Ganondorf even though it's the most cartoony looking Zelda game.
Fantastic video I’m currently playing P5R which I was waiting for and we’re planning on buying this masterpiece game soon, I currently watching play throughs for tips and understanding the story and noticed the combat system is confusing and battle voice lines are too repetitive but besides that I’m loving the world build and blades designs.
I discovered the Xenoblade series about a year ago and finished my first XB1 playthrough in a week. I bought XB2 immediately after and got about halfway through before dropping it. Picked it up again about a month ago and just finished the main story. Monolith Soft has the awesome status/problem of having created a genre-defining masterpiece as the first game of a series and then having nowhere else to go with it, kind of how Fromsoft did with the first Dark Souls. XB2 is a good/great JRPG, but it was still a major step back from what Monolith accomplished with XB1, and from what I've seen of XB3 so far I just don't think they're ever gonna get back to those heights. They're still making absolute bangers though, they deserve a ton of credit for not just resting on their laurels
Recently finished the game, clocking in at 100 hours. Gacha system wasn't too terrible (I only had to unlock ~ 50 crystals before getting KOS-MOS) but trying to max out affinity rings for all blades is exhausting, to say the least. May do another playthrough after playing XC 3.
My love for Xenoblade really boomed through 2022. I was actually kind of upset when Xenoblade 3 was announced, despite enjoying the first one enough in 2021. I thought it was a waste of time to put in a direct. Right before it came out, I went back to play the first to keep myself from wanting the third, but my second play through was more than double the length(95 hours) of my first time through(45hours). I did a ton of sidequests, actually bothered with the heart-to-hearts, and just loved everything about it. It ended up making want Xenoblade 3 even more, which I’ve spent 225 hours in so far, and now I’m playing and loving 2. Zelda will always be my favorite, because it’s what got me into gaming, but Xenoblade is in my top five, if not top three. Everything about it is just so perfect, and I’m glad to be a part of the Xenoblade community.😄I hope more people are exposed to the game, and I’d like to see a Xenoblade Warriors eventually. I sadly can’t watch the whole video yet because I need to avoid any more spoilers.
I played Xenoblade 1 on Wii in November-december of 2021, and... I liked it. Than Xenoblade 3 was announced, not really hyped, but then the release was close and people started to speak about it, and I don't know why but I decided to play it again, and I loved so much this second playthrough, so much that when my game was bugged and I just couldn't progress anymore don't matter what I did, what I did was going to my parents and say "my game is bugged, I can't progress" crying. It was very after beating Lorithia, the game just wouldn't respond anymore after the cutscene. 2 months after, I manage to download Xenoblade again for Wii in a computer from a lan house, and the Wii recognized my save and I could beat it. It took some time baucase I had to grind, this part took me weeks in the first playthrough because of lazy, but now loving the game i made it fast and beat Zanza again. And then it became my favorite game, suparsing Zelda twilight princess At the time, October of 2022, my dream was playing Xenoblade 3 and I did not have a Switch, but I loved so much the ost, and the future connected battle theme was my favorite In the same month I started Xenogears, in december I beat it, but personally unfortunately it wasn't a experience as good as Xenoblade 1, though the story is more deep, I didn't even have brain to fully understand to be honest 😅 and the gameplay made me have more bad memories than goods... I want a remake, I know I might love this game if they fix my problems and I can understand better Then... 2023, in November I got a Switch, played a lot of Zelda Botw and Mario Odyssey, and some.other games, I was planning to play Xenoblade 1 again on the definitive edition, than Xenoblade 2, but I decided to go to Xenoblade 2. In 2022 I was like "if I could, I would just jump Xenoblade 2 because Xenoblade 3 is better" but it is good I actually decided to play Xenoblade 2, because this game is f0ck1n# good, I loved almost every moment of it, and it is the game that I most cried ever, and started to like Xenoblade 1 even more because all the Lore added, I take some of its characters as inspirations, this game is part of who I am now, as well as Xenoblade 1 is for quite some time! I am going to play Xenoblade 3 at the end of this year, on vacation (in my country the vacation is in that period) I hope I will love it as much as these 2 amazing games
There aren’t many RPG’s that I’ll casually put 200 hours into on my first play through. First of the series I’ve played and I remember finishing it and was sitting on the title screen for at least half an hour just taking it in. I really need to make this an annual game to play.
And for the record, the game is totally beatable with exclusively the story blades and their respective drivers you're given (Minus field skill related shenanigans) so if you want, you can ignore the gacha system for the most part
While I love all the Xenoblade games and this video was really well made, I had problems understanding the commmentary sometimes. Maybe I am the only one here but some pronunciation was really had to get for me and lessened the experience somewhat even more so since subtitles /CC are not available. It was still great to take a look back at one remarkable title
I'll try to work on that, Captions are being added to the video now and I'll try to improve my voiceover since im still kinda new to this 😅😅 but im glad you enjoyed the video!
@@ShiftedPyro Looks like I was just an hour too early then, bummer but thanks for the info ^^ Keep at it, I really think this new format is great and I can't wait to see more similar vids

Hi really thanks! Amazing video. I played XC 1 and XC3 before playing XC2. I m not satisfied by any story. The XC1 was new but XC2 and XC3 have a really close story 😅 A ennemi which is not, a city which try to destroy the real ennemi. I really loved these 3 games. But I fund them to close
Never got the game, or any xenoblade game, but it has always been on the corner of my mind. I think I’ve decided on buying this game if it ever gets a definitive edition on the next Nintendo console or something. Maybe XB3 too down the line, still not sure
Just got done watching a 1 hour Scott the Woz video.... TIME TO WATCH ANOTHER 1 HOUR VIDEO WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 2AM GAMING BOYS GET YOUR POPCORN BECAUSE HERE WE GO
Ill say this, for every bad thing i can point about this game, i can point out 30 to 40 amazing things about it. That people were willing to just nitpick it to call it bad was a deserves that should not have existed. Heck, it still pisses me off that people were willing to just say the game was too anime to dismiss it when that is not even real criticism.
Well damn! Guess I have to wait till I beat part 3 before I watch this. Played part 3 so hard I got burned out and wanted to take a break. So I stop to play Bayonetta 2 since Bayonetta 3;was gonna be dropping soon. Then jumped on bayo 3 finished it, but God of war Ragnarok was gonna be dropping soon after.....so I had to hurry and beat God of war......Lord, I hate how I'm like this with game lol 😅
I know the game isn't perfect, I know it has a sexism Problem, but man, it will laways have a special place in my heart for getting me through some tough times and letting me make the best friend I've ever had! I love this game to bits!
Thank you all for watching and enjoying the video!

Unpopular? Mate I agree with everything you just said though for now it's a top 3.
The music too omg
Amazing opinion man, I agree entirely.
Or Rex and Pyra talking over a campfire together.)
I was also aware of the controversy surrounding the game and it got me curious about it.
Well one actually is the monado The Other one is just a Wilder But yeah you're right it is a nice parallel
@@rghennig1 thanks for sharing your knowledge on the game, you are so cool.
@@shwoopi It's no problem I'm just happy to help 😊
I would love, perhaps a couple of years from now, a Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Definitive Edition. It should have proper English lip-synching (a la XC3), corrected, revamped and accessible tutorials, streamlined field skills, Torna: The Golden Country included, improved performance -- many of the quality of life changes that XC1 got in its Definitive Edition and XC3 brought about. I feel like this game deserves it.
It truly does, a magnificent game it is
This would make it a million times better
Xb2 holds a special place in my heart, I got into the series by hearing the music and the fact it’s about swords. Like a dumass I thought u had to play the first one before part 2 so I did
its well worth playing 1 before 2 so its all good
You kind of do have to play the first one if you want the best moment in the game to hold any impact.
The English voice acting is awesome in my opinion. Different accents for different races / blades is so cool. And they did such a good job with the translating. Yes, Rex sounds a bit annoying, but that fits his character. He's just a kid who came to access a great power - and two beautiful women. I would probably sound the same 😅 (And he sounds more mature toward the end.)
Edit: You point these things out later in the video. Good job!
The lip-syncing never bothered me, but I'm still very glad they improved this in XBC3!
Awesome video!
I mention the other voices in a later section. Im also a big fan of all of the voices and various accents they have, it makes them so unique 😁😁
But first let’s see if the XB3 DLC will blow our minds lol
replaying it now and its still great best of the 3 for me
Amazing video.
Xenoblade 2 just has SOMETHING I think we all feel it maybe in slightly different ways. Just magical.
Felt in your pants probably! This game is kawaii desu
Xc2 iw the game that made me fall in love with jrpgs again, it has a special place in my heart tbh
XC2/Torna is my favorite of the series. Always love to find another person who appreciates it.
Ngl I teared up a bit during the Story analysis part. This game will truly forever be in our hearts for ever.
Long live the story of Xenoblade 2
I like how different each XB game is. It makes playing through all of them again much more enjoyable.
I am comparatively new Xenoblade 2 fan- only played the entire trilogy in 2022 for the first time, but I started to love them.
Xenoblade 2 is the best Xenoblade game for me, I won’t let anyone convince me otherwise.
Xenoblade is now honestly my favorite series of all time. and Xenoblade 2 is just my favorite game of all time
XB2 is the game that I have experienced the most feelings inside of me and I thank with all my heart that this was my first title to enter the entire franchise, a game too special for me and I keep all the special affection in the world for it❤️
Same, what beautiful game it was
I love XB3 BUT 2 IS JUST SO GOOD
One of the best games ever made !
Tora is truly the fella of all time. I’ve always loved that medium-sized potato. I like to give him the benefit of the doubt for the darker tones.
This is the game of my life. Perfect in every way
I just put this game down after 320 hours a couple weeks ago (December 2022) This game got me really hooked!
On a video discussing the ending scene, I wrote this detail I noticed about the end scene:
The ending scene is probably my favorite scene but I will give credit to the directors for setting it up.
Fast forward to the very end, at the bridge (spoilers)
The scene follows the same structure set up from all the way back in chapter 2.
Xenoblade 2 is filled with so many small details like this I love it
XB2 is my first Xenoblade game and it also holds a special place in my heart and while I admit it's a rough gem due to some wonky Voice acting, rough performance (Specially on handheld), some questionable character design from the blades and the slow start of the plot...
Your channel inspired me to do more Xenoblade content!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE XENOBLADE CHRONICLES 2.
Thank you for this video. Man you just hit me right in the heart. I forgot why this game means so much to me. Fuck. Time for a NG+ run
The pandemic introduced me to the xenoblade series, bought on a whim since it was the last copy at my local game store and I enjoyed it a lot
Thank you very much for this awesome video man!
@@ShallBePurified very well put my friend
@@ShallBePurified yo N from black and white are in XB3
Just finished the video, you did an amazing job! Hope you have a good day :D
Thank you!! You too man :)
All 3 games are unique in different ways that will make them worth playing for years and years to come. Great video.
It's surreal watching a video so down to Earth from you 😂👌
Rewatched the Etika streams recently, so I loved seeing that recognition 🤟
Pyro made a whole ass documentary. Mad respect.
Great video
My favourite game on the nintendo switch
This video is so good, thanks dude
*What a splendid game it was.*
My favourite soundtrack from XC2 is "Walking with you"
Walking with You is also one of my favorites as well! Such a good track that nails the emotions of a scene
Rofling so hard at the "ancient evil part" XDDD ..-ahem- (proceeds to watch the remaining of the video)
Nothing more to say all of this is truth.
I really think I'm the only one who like rex pants.
I love this game. I love it so much
My love for Xenoblade really boomed through 2022.
And then it became my favorite game, suparsing Zelda twilight princess
At the time, October of 2022, my dream was playing Xenoblade 3 and I did not have a Switch, but I loved so much the ost, and the future connected battle theme was my favorite
In the same month I started Xenogears, in december I beat it, but personally unfortunately it wasn't a experience as good as Xenoblade 1, though the story is more deep, I didn't even have brain to fully understand to be honest 😅 and the gameplay made me have more bad memories than goods... I want a remake, I know I might love this game if they fix my problems and I can understand better
Then...
Loved this game, a true flawed gem 💎
Funny Shafted Payro releases another banger
And for the record, the game is totally beatable with exclusively the story blades and their respective drivers you're given (Minus field skill related shenanigans) so if you want, you can ignore the gacha system for the most part
I know I'm 2 months late, but completely agree with this post. If you can afford dlc blades, they are nice additions.

The XC1 was new but XC2 and XC3 have a really close story 😅
A ennemi which is not, a city which try to destroy the real ennemi. I really loved these 3 games. But I fund them to close
XC2 is incredible
Never got the game, or any xenoblade game, but it has always been on the corner of my mind. I think I’ve decided on buying this game if it ever gets a definitive edition on the next Nintendo console or something. Maybe XB3 too down the line, still not sure
Also i think your timeline into becoming a xeno fan is the same as mine lol
Xenoblade 2's voice acting was great. The only real issue was how they had Rex screaming, other than that, the direction was spot on.
Just got done watching a 1 hour Scott the Woz video....
TIME TO WATCH ANOTHER 1 HOUR VIDEO WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
2AM GAMING BOYS GET YOUR POPCORN BECAUSE HERE WE GO
Good video brother 👍
I consider myself one of those pedestal perching git gud fromsoft sunbros; but XBC2 IS THE GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT IN VIDEO GAMES.
This game is AMAZING
Ill say this, for every bad thing i can point about this game, i can point out 30 to 40 amazing things about it. That people were willing to just nitpick it to call it bad was a deserves that should not have existed. Heck, it still pisses me off that people were willing to just say the game was too anime to dismiss it when that is not even real criticism.
Pyra, I love her so much !! 😍
It really has been five years...
The passage of time..
The ugly cries I had with this game, such an emotional rollercoaster.
Lmaoo i can understand that, beat Xenoblade 3 tho, good ass game 👍
Should i get xenoblade 2 i played the first one to like 90% completion and loved every bit of it should i also get the 2nd one now that im done
Aaaah, Xenoboobs 2.
Ah yes the tedious qrind to max S9 friendship. Even though the gameplay is fun, the grind is really a chores.
All for that 10% increase in damage
I know the game isn't perfect, I know it has a sexism Problem, but man, it will laways have a special place in my heart for getting me through some tough times and letting me make the best friend I've ever had! I love this game to bits!
Omg pyro upload!!!
Oh yeah and also Zeke is still the best character
