Maggie was a very good airplane for me. Private, Instrument, Wisconsin, New York, Florida.
I bought her as a student pilot, and the previous owner flew her to me.
Now I've sold her to a student pilot and I ferried her to him.
I never really owned her. I was just a temporary steward. My name is now merely the most recent in a long list of names that was responsible for taking care of her. For my benefit, but also for the benefit of all the future pilots who will join that list.
Farewell, my dear Maggie. You are an excellent teacher and I hope you continue that legacy for many decades to come.

Everything is temporary - but she will be missed surely! You did a great job acclimating the new owner and went way above and beyond to make sure he was feeling good about the plane. Well done! Great video man.

You buying Maggie was the single biggest inspiration in me buying Jules. Seeing your videos early on affirmed for me that I could indeed buy a plane as a student pilot and be successful. As a result this video was kind of an emotional watch for me :)

First, I'm really glad my experience inspired you.
Second, yeah this is not the version I originally wrote. Which was much much more emotional.
      I'll share it in discord.

Thanks Ben. Interesting. What that means is that I clearly have no idea what will connect with people.

22:15 how does it sound with the headset? how does it compare?
25:00 interesting convo about low battery!
40:25 "what's the most people you've had in here?" (so many great answers going through my head right now)
    congrats on your final landing!
surprised you weren't sitting right seat! It would have been good training.

      Hi Ted!
22:15 TBH I don't remember exactly what I was thinking. But it was along the lines of: Is the engine performing normally? I think the difference in sound is due to the headset not the engine.
25:00 Yeah, I was trying to stay off the radio as much as possible given the other guy was having radio issues. But I was also trying to find him to avoid landing conflicts
      40:25 lol
      Thank you.
I have never sat right seat in any airplane that I was trying to land. I've thought many times about going up with a CFI to do that, but I haven't done it. And there was no way I was doing that for the first time on this flight.
I'm also reminded of what www.youtube.com/@FriendlySkiesFilm said in one of his videos: trying to teach himself to land right seat seriously screwed up his landings from the left seat. So I'm content to just fly left seat until I decide if I wanna become a CFI.

@@1dullgeek makes sense re low battery. I sat in the right when I was buying mine and was like "noooope not ready for this".
