Is there an error code that shows up with that message?
Theres a fix. Had the same message just have to do extra steps

I tryed on my Xbox one X and it immediately signs me out of Xbox live. Then it shows my old tag name. I click on it and doesnt
find my old profile or new one
Is your old gamer tag one that you witches to your current? Or is your current one a completely new account from the 360 account?

I’m curious, are you guys Xbox gold members or game pass members? I’m curious if since the older games are active if being considered a gold or “premium” member would cause issues or not. I’d say if you have continuous issues signing in, to contact the Xbox support team. They’d be able to see more.
I get into a match and it kicks me out immediately then it joins back, kicks me out again.. idk how to solve this. (Im on series s)
Does it give you an error code when this happens?
@@KryptechKnight nope i enter a team death match, i connect to the game, the map screen loads, i get to pick out my load out and sends me back to the loading screen and then again to selecting my weapons.
@@MohamadShakhy it could be it may need a fresh install. That or it could be your internet NAT settings. Do you happen to know if you have a Open NAT setting? It’d likely say in the cod lobby

Okay then I wouldn’t think it’s your internet settings. I’d say try reinstalling the game and once done hard reset the Xbox by holding the power button for 10 seconds until it goes black and is shutdown.
I really want to buy it again I’m on series x, but I tried mw3 original and it’s almost full of hacked lobbies.
Yeah :/ unfortunately since it’s an older title there’s likely no more support or work in terms of fighting hackers going on.

When I played I didn’t find many if any at all.

I can certainly try! Did you recently get game pass? And does your account own the bo2 game? If you’re using a physical disc there shouldn’t be an issue with permissions for the game. Could be a delay in game pass showing as a subscription on your account.
@@KryptechKnight I have tried to play black ops one and black ops two on my Xbox one and I am having the same issue as the other guy. It says I cannot connect to Xbox live. But if I play any newer game, it works fine. Just 360 games will not work. But they have in the past this is just recent.
And you have Xbox good or xbox ultimate? Or at least some sort of membership?

What’s it say about the account? That’s likely what’s preventing you from getting online. If they new they could have some kind of setting preventing online play. A parent control setting on by default

@@KryptechKnight I’ve looked in the setting it can’t be a settings problem it’s a new Xbox and I hard reset it when I got it

Hi! When I click Xbox Live in the multiplayer menu it says “the current profile is not allowed to play on xbox live” even tho i have game pass ultimate & no family restrictions on my account. Do you kno how I can fix this? Was excited to play for some nostalgia

You can always try the following:
Make sure that you have Xbox Live Gold account
Check if your Xbox Live Gold subscription is still active
Delete and download your profile again
Clear the Persistent storage
Clear the MAC address
Test the Xbox Live connection
Clear the system cache
Power cycle your console
I did just this and no matches at all
I do know depending on what game type you’re trying to play and how many people are in that playlist will determine how quickly (if at all) you get into a match.

@eliasholemans4770 I would double check what version of the game you bought. Check the description as you may have mistakenly bought the French version. After a quick search it sounds like they do have language specific versions.

i have a big input delay im plaing on the xbox series s with xbox elite v2
You may need to close and relaunch game or even hard restart. Try that and let me know if there’s still a delay!

@@hamadkhalifa6104 @nsdclanclips2547 oh! Yes that buried map is a part of the vengeance map pack. Black ops 2 and it’s dlc are all still considered Xbox 360 games and will show as having the 360 branding. You need a good membership, the game and that map map in order to play it.

I bought the season pass but I can’t download the map packs. Ive tried doing it in game but when I click to confirm the free purchase, it says my credit card info can’t be retrieved when I have my cc info on my account? I’m not sure what to do
Are you trying to get them from the 360 store or the Xbox one store?
@@KryptechKnight I try it in the in game store. On the Xbox store it shows I still need to pay for them
Yes I’m pretty sure the in game store doesn’t work. You need to get the dlc from the Xbox storefront. Try that and let me know if that worked.
@@KryptechKnight yea I’ll probably just have to get a refund for the season pass. I’ll buy only 1 dlc for now then get the others later. Doubt they ever go on sale individually.
