Best guns , best maps , cod points , wager matches , best gold camo , zombies . The simplicity back then was what made it so good .

I played Ghosts, didn't love it. Quit because of AW and came back for WW2 until they eventually ruined it with updates. Plus the maps weren't great. Bo2 was the last good COD and by far the best. MW2 is a close second but bo2 zombies put it so far ahead

BO2 had soo much content, the maps were lit, guns were good and good variety, streaks were OP, decent campaign and pretty good zombies. BO2 is my second favorite to BO1 followed by WaW
The multiplayer and zombies was just something else on this game. Some very fine memories we made

The two best call of duty games are Call of Duty® Black Ops and Call of Duty® Black Ops 2. I say this because these two games were made in the prime time of gaming. And they helped revolutionize call of duty and make it more popular than it already was. The also did something special for the series. Call duty black ops made it so that in the multiplayer You are able to make your own emblems. And in call of duty, black ops two they revolutionized call of duty games having multiple endings. They also have the most popular and most memorable stories in the game. I know people might disagree with me on this, but no one can disagree with me that these are honestly they’re either both in top three or at least one of them are in top three for best call of duty games of all time. And also they have the best characters in the game Weather it comes to plane is Alex Mason or David Mason and they have good supporting cast characters like Hudson, Reznov Woods, Harper, Salazar, Bowman, Crosby. And they easily have the most heatable, but most popular antagonist of all time Raul Menendez, and I mean, Dragović, Kravchenko and Steiner are all good antagonist, but Menendez would eat them for breakfast.
Just the sound of that scar brings back so many memories 🥹
i was terrible at this game but i had so much fun playing zombies on here and the story was a blast

It won’t happen but just imagine a new bo2 with no exploits, dedicated servers, and new graphics. That’s all it would take. No rebalancing no skill based just give us a refreshed bo2 with all the dlc at launch and it would set me back probably three years of my life

It was the last truly great online cod game. I haven't enjoyed cod since black.ops 2 I bought 3 and was so disappointed I never bought another cod product again. And now they are em ao fast u can't keep up anyways. I will say cod 3 had an amazing zombies dlc though remastering the og zombie maps but now there servers lag so bad it's unusable

I do think BO1 was a little better, but BO2 is def one of the best cods. Horrible perk balance, rampant snipers/shotguns, target finders and C4 spam is what made it worse imo. Not that I didn’t abuse all of that myself but still.
Bo1 hit detection ruined multiplayer. It’s still high up there in the tier list but definitely not better than bo2 lol
