Good tips! I've been busking for 3 years. The main reason I started was because the neighbors were bothered by my practicing. Now I thoroughly enjoy it, and get great response.
Fantastic video, great advice. I did busking once, on a Thursday afternoon, 35°C and people were in a rush. However, the homeless and local drunks had a good time. I earned €6,50 in 1,5 hours and then had to pay €2 parking fees. I will try again though. Other location, other time.🙂
I have a trolley from halfords it was only £10 and i use it to carry my tenor sax to band practice as the carpark is a few hundred yards away. It is brilliant
Just put some money in your sax box :-) via pay pal Lynden. Your busking tips is spot on. Thank you and well done. I live in the UK busk around the world. I have been busking in Las Palmas, Sicily, Malta, Montpellier, Sofia - Bulgaria, ..... You tips are relevant anywhere. I usually use my baseball cap for money collection, and also use Zettle in the UK. I use a bose revolve plus speaker which is actually quite good and loud enough. I have the same neighbour problems and have managed to lessen this my practicing on my Roland AE10! Thanks again Lynden. Keep making these videos.
Thank you so much! It’s really kind of you to support me and this channel and I very much appreciate it. Your busking adventures sound absolutely amazing and I bet that you’ve had a lot of fun and have collected a bunch of stories on the way. Good luck to you my friend and all the best 🤝🤝🎷🎷😎😎
Hello.Thx for the video. Lots of good information ❤. I hope, I never had to do it because I'm old and don't need it for money. But I would try it to lose my stress when I play in public. Organ in church is Ok. Playing piano at retirement home (what you suggested me last year) is Ok. But during Jam or Gig it is horrible (for any instrument). I lose my feeling, I tremble. Do you think it is a good exercice for shy people like me?

Hi Kooky, yes I think it’s a good experience to have 🤝🤝😎😎🎷🎷
Do I need to have everything memorized, or can I set up to read some of the music somehow?
Well, it’s really up to you but I suggest that you memorise your repertoire 🤝🤝😎😎🎷🎷
dont carry a card let them put your number in the phone
Can do! 🤝🤝🎷🎷😎😎
Jay metcalf!! 😅😅 Really???
Absolutely 😂😂
Don't bring the good sax busking. If you can, invest in a cheap one that wont mind the abuse.
Absolutely 🤝🤝🎷🎷😎😎
