Well done young man, I am very impressed !!! I like the new body styling for the 2021 models. Keep up the good work, can’t wait to see your next video... 👌☝️👍🤘.
This is your segment Kase. You testing them and doing the reviews on them makes sense. Takes a biker to know a bike. And I agree with you about the skeleton protection. It makes sense to me on a quad. I would like to HEAR your impressions of how they turn, drive, handle, etc. Specs are fine and useful, however, its the TFL impressions you give that really set the bar for people to go out and try them or forget them.
They actually changed a lot. Aside from new plastics, they moved the battery, got way better lower control arms in front, and moved the radiator. Down side is they got rid of storage. I'm bot sure why though. I have a 2016 that has 5200 miles on it so far. I still love it, but my daughter (14 years old) is getting that one when I upgrade. Between the upgrades on the new model, and the great dealer network, I'll most likely buy another 570.
They finally smartened up and moved that battery. That’s what I like. And the price for a fully loaded 570 is still under $10k. Some of these quad prices are getting out of hand. Especially when you can buy a SxS for under $15k
Who is that kid? He is good. As for these atv, I cannot see a reason why anyone would prefer one without powersteering, its just better in every way for everything.
@@toml1446 It is a fair argument.. 20 years ago. These days the components they use seem pretty bullet proof. However, shy of being out in the back 40 for ranch work or farming, one should always have a play mate along in case something fails. ;)
I never bought a Polaris because of the plastics and the battery placement down under. Good review though and it’s nice to see Polaris starting to make an ATV more like a All Terrine Vehicle that’s meant to drive into the woods and not look pretty on the trailer
I love my 04 Sportsman 500 H.O. what I don't like about the new models is the screen. It looks cheap and i still prefer an analog speedometer. I'm glad they finally moved the battery. Charging or replacing mine is a pain the ass and the only thing i don't like about mine. As for the new one i don't really care for extra features that can break like the power steering. I wish Polaris would bring back the ATP and offer something smaller and lighter like the old Magnum 325. I also would like to see an optional 2nd throttle. The last ATV weekend i went on we we did 121 miles and my right thumb was in so much pain and took 3 weeks to feel better. So maybe 2 throttles that can be used one at a time with a switch to switch throttle control. Maybe a lever similar to the break handle could be the throttle. Maybe cruise control for long smooth trails too.
I went with a Can Am Outlander Max since Polaris still hasnt updated the styling on the 2up Sportsman. If I was in the market for a single seater though the Sportsman would have got my purchase
I've got a 2015 570 with EPS real nice in the wood, however it's WAY too sensitive if your on hard pack. I wish they would either make it speed sensitive or provide a cut off switch like Can AM units
Thanks for this great video I'm kind of between the sportsman 570 and The Can-am outlander 570 I would love to see you do a video comparing polaris's all wheel drive system versus can-am's visco lock system
I am Trying to make up my mind on either the 450 or 570 base or trail? I will mainly use it for around the house & hauling in some wood. You did a good job on this video.
I just bought a 570 trail. $11,000 out the door... pretty spendy. Only issue I know of is that the front box is possibly the worst designed box in the history of ATV’s. Hope they come out with a fix soon.
They are great for sure - but the "ton of accessories" are really expensive and the stock rig is really butt naked for its price! That´s why I choose a CF-Moto.
Got my 2021 Sportsman 570 Onxy Trail on order... But wish I could find a specific review of that machine, as Polaris online info specs vary on factory options listed.
Brown Turd not true. My old Sportsman 850 EFI (2up) was FAR more stable than my bro’s Can Am 450. I actually did put the Can Am on its side going down some ruts. The Polaris going down the same trail, not even close to tipping. Though I would have had a much harder time pushing the Polaris back up (maybe impossible if it had pinned me down), it never gave me the feeling it was ever coming close to actually doing it.
Brown Turd it wasn’t the tires, the Polaris had a wider track. They weren’t the original tires, but they weren’t significantly larger than stock (if larger at all). I’m telling you, the Polaris was just a much more stable machine. It’s more stable in EVERY scenario. Wider track means lower CG. It also had a slightly longer wheelbase, which increases stability.
As a 2020 450ho owner I like this refresh but still falls short of a awesome machine it could be! 2020 cons: Battery location, strut suspension up front, weak high beam headlight, autolite spark plug, open front fender let's mud go right into the radiator, down right awful shift lever, poorly outfitted, have to buy everything extra, even rack extenders or a winch. decent machine tho!
I paid almost $2000 less for my 850 straight from the dealer than the 570 trail edition costs explain that to me. Especially when the new models are just smaller engines in the 850-1000 chassis and they still use MacPherson struts on some models and still haven't offered the high lifter in the 570 like can am does with the outlander 570 xmr like come on my family is strictly a polaris family and I don't want to get my wife a can am just so she can come mudding with me without me having to put thousands into the bike to make it ready for deep mud
Anyone else have issues with blown stock shocks ? My 2017 Sportsman 850 and 1000 have blown out three shocks each ,yet my 2004 Sportsman 500 with over 6K miles on it still has the original shocks
TFL, please give Kase and Alex there own segment, excellent episode of TFL off road. Kase, I really like your eyeglasses, very nice. You should wear your glasses more often, just a thought Kase 🙂.
Polaris in genral is to genralized. With is good and bad. But they don't hit the neesh of specialist riders. But good for those new to the sport. Ps. That end us basically all standard on all ATVS.
I like everything about the sportsman I just wished they would figure out a way to bump up the 570 to more than 45hp maybe like 52-55 somewhere in there cause personally I would like a little more power but getting to an 850 is just to big to fit a lot of places unlike the 570
If that John Deere tractor shift lever was such a great thing, other brands would be doing it. Since it's a pos, nobody else wants it. Try going down a rocky and steep hill and see how many times your knee bangs into it!
Because i prefer gears not because the cvt is bad. I have a sportsman 570 and i like it but I’d rather it have a gear box. No stopping from high to low range for hills no belt to slip or get wet and engine braking that i can control instead of the machines engine braking that is to much in most situations. All this is personal preference and not a fault of the machine
I dont know man I am not into the ATV world but lotta peeps say the big 3 Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki are the best ATVs. I like the idea of no electric shift or power steering.. Gimme a base model foot shift and I will be happy

Great job Kase on the review and Andre on the camera.
About time the finally made the battery more accessible! Now if they had a pull start for back up, they'd have fixed my two biggest complaints.
Agreed! Why get rid of the pull start as a backup?
They actually changed a lot. Aside from new plastics, they moved the battery, got way better lower control arms in front, and moved the radiator. Down side is they got rid of storage. Still cheap garbage though. Cant keep a belt on the 570 ..the c.v.t on Polaris is a joke
Gary Woodgate agreed. I have a 570 Polaris and a Can am Maverick. I’m planning on trading the Polaris in for another Can Am.
