The story is wonderful and full of thoughts. I thank you very much for such story, I wish people can read it extract the lessons to build a better society. Thank you very much.
I feel like she was not to be blamed for everything, the chief's daughter was the one at fault, she's the one who spoke to her friends, isimeh just took advantage of the situation, all the girls should have been punished in one way or the other.
If Isime had done something good, which is worthy of emulation and the village had benefited, she would have been immortalised for all the right reasons, too. Just as it takes one person to spread goodness to a whole village, it also takes just one person for corruption to spread. So, yeah, Isime opened the eyes of all the girls to debauchery and should be blamed for it.
@@nkechidouglas5541 did she force them? Were they children? She was punished for their envy of her, I am so glad God does not punish us for another person's sin because the girls knew to protect their purity but envy's grip was so tight on them Many people like to blame others for their actions but truth is we're responsible for our own deeds. All the girls should have participated in the sacrifice because they all sinned
No one learned their lesson. Not even Isime. She was not solely responsible. She was living her life minding her business. The other girls were minding her business, and they wanted that life. Their parents were too proud and arrogant and so everyone made Isime the scapegoat. The girls were weak minded and naive. The parents, elders, and oracle were all prideful and stupid to not hold the girls and the guys they slept with accountable. Isime should have never accepted the full burden. The lesson in the story is humanity is hopeless.
I think the elders were not completely honest with their judgement because she didn't force them into it. Their daughters were Left out from the judgment and she alone had to suffer.
The Princess brought this calamity to the community, if someone is doing something you don't understand, ask questions and find out things to be sure before you indulge yourself into same thing too, The Princess
Thank you for such a great addition to the conversation! Do you feel that every decision in this story holds a deeper meaning? Have you ever faced similar choices?"
Never wish to be like someone else because u don't know consequences u will bring to ur entire family Iseemah did nothing wrong, she was living her life which pleased her not for anyone But the chief daughter was soo desperate to follow her step nd spread the secret around, she was the one who cause it
The way we all look for someone to blame for actions taken by ourselves. As far as am concerned, she did nothing wrong, she didn’t force them into anything, they all had a mind of their own and all should have been punished instead of them pointing accusing fingers for something they are all guilty of.
That was really a wonderful tale💯🙏🔥I have learnt lessons also that it is really important to follow and respect any religion you find yourself in.But I think they should not blame Isimeh only but the guys need to be blamed also ,and the person who spread the rumours was the kings daughter by being a spy and found Isimeh's secret. But non the less that was wonderful to listen to 😅♥️
This should be the kind of story our young ones should read or listen to. I so much love it. god bless the writer. we need more of it to bring sanity to our community.
This story in a way shows injustice So from this story one can say that if someone is seen entering into fire still walking out of it without getting burnt does it mean that person should try it out too IN LIFE EVERYBODY IS HEARD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR ACTIONS
I like the tale very much. It reminds exactly of what goes on in society. The corrupt and viscious members of society are never indicted for doing wrong. It is the small time thief and people with minor misdemeanours who get punished and locked up in prison. The girl from the city and all the village virgins are the victims of the mature men who bought their consciences with money and stole their virginity. These men are the real criminals. The second observation that I make is a question which emanates directly from siciety. Why is it that the women of the village are saddled with the responsibility of the purity of this village? Why should young men not be made to preserve their virginity as well? Thirdly the mother of the city girl tales total responsibility for the waywardness of her daughter. Her husband blames her for not having brought uo her daughter well. Why should a child's bad behaviour become her mother's cross. Where is father's role in child upbringing? Can mother do it alone? No! Conclusion. African societies still see women as objects for man's use and pleasure. Woman is yet to be valorized as human with rights and emotions that are equal to those of her male and deserve the same gratification as those of her male counterpart.
The woman was created for the man's pleasure. She existed to SERVE the man. Her destiny is to do the man's will. There's no room for equality but equity. She deserves to be loved and treated well as a human being. That is different from authority. The man is the one in authority as designed by the Creator. Don't be like the f00lish $atAn who also wants to be equal with The Most High God Who already lavished so much love on him.
The story about that what she didn’t was good I was not good but I enjoyed the story. It was pretty good. I enjoyed it. I really enjoyed it. I was thinking we have a movie about the show, but I was thinking you have a movie about it so we can watch the movie.
Well I believe that what the villagers did was wrong Choice is very important in this life ,this village girls had a choice to follow Isimeh or not but they succumb to peer pressure and the funny part is that they all wanted the attention of the men

Why did they blame her? Did she put a bullet in the girls' heads to force them to do what they did? What about the men who participated with the girls? And what about the chief's daughter😡? And further, why didn't the spirits of the oracle tell them what was happening before it happened💔? May wisdom and true peace be into you all 🤔
The fact that no man was blamed 😢

interesting how no blame was placed on the men who slept with the villagers.
Tradition and gift or money must work together. Tradition should not only go with lack and poverty.

It is the men who wanted their virginity. They were older and knew what they wanted. That is why they paid to distroy the girls. Wicked old men.
They should've blamed the men whom also knew about the tradition but also took advantage of the situation 🤷🤦

The princess caused the whole problem because she was the person that disclosed the secret to the girls
