thank you so much! i think most furniture made for barbie is too small, do they think we wouldn't notice?? :) i also don't like it when they have the bathroom in the middle of the house with no privacy, i'm not crazy, i know barbie's don't pee, but they should offer some privacy even for dolls, i remember when i was a kid, i always had nightmares that when i went to a public bathroom, all the cubicles had short walls so everyone can see what i was doing :)
I had that nightmare too, I think its how we train ourselves when we need to get up and go to the loo. If your dream was like mine you never found a loo without doors everyone could see into and eventually it wakes you up and you go to your normal, private bathroom.
Great makeover 👏! That's a lot of work so it's fun to watch others do it 👍 I think of doing makeovers but then I just say to myself I can live with a pink BBQ grill 😂

i started with just pulling it myself but i did remember the hair dryer trick and then used it, it made it so much easier to remove :) thank you :) can't wait to finally use some of my miniature food and stock up the refrigerator :)

You did a really good job on that it looks great! I was wondering are you going to paint the burners on the stove or leave them blank? But that’s nice I didn’t know that that old kind of furniture could be made to look so great and modern. Thanks for sharing this

Nice makeover! I really like the added wood. I've found a kitchen set made for a 14 inch Glitter Girl doll and it's perfect for Barbie. Why does Mattel always make the sets so small?! 😢
thank you so much :) that sounds awesome, Mattel needs to do better, the toys should match the dolls, i also don't like it when they put a bathroom with no door, i know they're barbies, and they don't really go, but i still think there needs to be a door for privacy :) is that weird??
It's because the sets are made to fit the too small dollhouses😂. I've found the scale of the 1980s sets are much better and I've had a lot of good luck repainting them. The newer plastics I've learned to sand, gesso, and then paint or the slightest scratch flakes all the paint right off again.
cool, very interesting, i would love to find some really old barbie dollhouses, especially from the 80's, i keep checking facebook marketplace almost every day :) but no luck
I think you'll need to sand it first, i haven't had any issues with plastic furniture i painted... spray painting with primer helps too i can showcase the tools more in the videos maybe, i don't really use much, miter sheers, glue gun, miter box, and the little drill :)

Uh….Where’s the counter space? Lol Cause otherwise it just looks like an oversized wet bar. There is zero area for other cooking appliances or food prep. Love the look of things, but need more “kitch” in the kitchen.

Everything turned out so nice. My daughter has a KidKraft Barbie house and I find some of the furniture it came with is a tad too short/small.

Also just an FYI to remove stickers off of plastic a hair dryer works

I have that same kitchen that I want to use. I tried painting it but it keeps peeling. Can you do a frequent supplies and tools video?
