All packages are labeled with a little 1x2in sticker known as the SID number. Our scanners sequence the entire route based on those numbers. There are 16 total "zones" that can be made and they follow the pattern of 1000-1099, 1500-1599, 2000-2099, 2500-2099, etc., all the way to 8500-8599. On the shelves in the back, there are stickers on the them that tell the package loader where to put each package based on the SID number. You start with 1000 and end with 8500. To break it down very simply, we can see on our scanners that 123 N, Main St. has the SID number 1043. So we look for that package on the 1000's shelf with the SID number 1043. Done. On to the next, rinse and repeat 100-200 more times! And on the unfortunately often occurrence that the SID sticker has fallen off, we have to match the address on the label with our scanner, and obviously with the location we are delivering to in real life. Honestly, without those SID stickers, the job would take a lot, lot longer and be a lot more tedious. As far as all the stuff in the middle, that's all big stuff that doesn't make sense to put on shelves. Just gotta make sure you remember where those ones are when you're at the stop! Hope all this info helps xD
Yes this was very helpful thank you! I understand now how the boxes are organized down to delivery. It’s not as chaotic as I thought cause the scanner and SID labels make everything smoother.

Sorry about me saying Jim in was actually him
The word Jim is actually a him
I feel like I’m ready to move on from amazon after watching this lol
Do it I did Amazon be on some bs
Do it, worth it; just heavy items less stops. No group stops
@@leavemealonejohnson5985 lmao what was funny is that one time a fedex guy talked to me and I told him “yeah we get group stops” and he straight up said “what the fuck?”
@@95nativewarri0r yea I fucking hated them shits, FedEx isn’t all sunshine neither really have to watch your body; I pulled a muscle so I’m recovering at the moment. Loading times are an hour and a half compared to 10-20 mins from Amazon
@@95nativewarri0r we do boat stops a house could have multiple packages that’s about it. Each stop is far from each other so no constant stopping
what time do you typically come out and also where are you located?
how do you maintain endurance or does the speed not matter
i kind of want to switch over from amazon. How is it?? my dsp pays 18.50 hr but like stops are like over the place with no breaks you I do take my break but usually like 5-10 mins
Good video..
Have you ever delivered at Tony Soprano's residence?
I've been around the area but no
You pay gas outta pocket? Or you have a gas card?
Probably a gas card, when I worked at FedEx when we filled up the gas station owner just kept a copy of the receipt for the contractor.
LOL I SAY UPS OR OOPS
120 stops....so your in and out of your vehicle 240 times?
How fast can you do 140 stops
What cam are you using???
What scanner do you guys use????
Can you use a dolly for heavy boxes?
yes. You it when you have to
Haha would be funny if your channel name was "Last House" as in last house delivered and I can go the fuck home!
Hey Chris you friend Roger Working FedEx Too Hi 👋
FedEx is the worst shipping service, period.
ZACH CHASE
Americans complaining about gas prices @ 11:47 make me laugh; to get that same amount of fuel where I am in Canada would be almost $200.... close to $250 for the date this video was actually posted
wa part of the us your working for fedex ??
No photo in the bank ?
non cdl right?
Is it N easy process to get hired on ?
My dad used to work for fedex when I was a baby so I don’t know when he quited but he used to work in New York his name was Bohodir if you know Jim because whenever we used to pass a fedex driver they used to fist bump
How do you know what packages to grab? Do you have commercial on one side and residential on the other And loading docks in the middle?
This looks like the south Hackensack area
👀
@@LaosHouse I just know the area really well. I'm a chauffeur and in at that airport multiple times a day
Yo question you spent $152 on gas something like that do you pay it yourself with your salary or does FedEx pay for it
you gotta pay it yourself or else FedEx keeps your entire paycheck
oh@@eddiew2325
Big gas tank
thank god I'm not paying
I work for fedex on a country backroads route and sometimes I’m scared for my life. It takes me 10-12 hours just to do 50-60 stops. It sucks but I know if I keep at it then I’ll eventually get a good route that’s a lot easier. Life’s not fair sometimes but MEN get out there and get it done regardless. We have so many people call out that I’m constantly working 7 days a week. Gotta pay your dues
Do you get a card to pay for gas?
yeah a company fuel card
So what do you do with the pick ups ? Do you return them to ur station or ?
Package handler here. Yes, they do indeed return them to the station, where a dedicated “Van Line unloader” unloads the vans onto conveyor belts
This is the 5th FedEx RUclipsr I’ve seen recently,😂 what’s going on! Seems like you guys are getting paid by FedEx to put out these videos all the sudden. 😅 not only that but all of you are at risk of getting seriously fired, if this wasn’t some marketing stunt because I can guarantee you. The company would going to be pissed if they see you filming on the job. So what is this? Some sort of FedEx secret promotion going on, or what?
Hey bro how exactly do you apply for fed ex ground or express? I tried online on fed ex page and it always never shows anything about hiring for delivery driver
Find a fedex driver driving around ask them if there hiring for there contractor each ground truck has different contractors names on it easiest way
Work at usps trust me
Yea if you want to have no life and piss poor management
Nah im good
0:05 This is why your packages are always late
Bro if we as FedEx drivers got $1 every time someone said that we could all retire trillionaires lol. This is the equivalent to a customer saying "HAHA MUST BE FREE THEN" when an item doesn't scan at a checkout counter.
Abit hard to watch. Makes one feel dizzy.
What a ugly white van ,
Royal mail van is good
Huge truck
