    So sorry for your loss. I had tears for you, it's heartbreaking. Be strong for him.
    A 16yr old instructed to go after him, kid didn't have a chance either.
    Its a sad fact NZ, that most hall parties, "especially" 21st's, with the young, different factions that attend, are a recipe for punch-ups, brawls, and in some cases death. I learnt that 30yrs ago, and it's no different today.
    A word of advice, if you do find yourself at a hall function or similar, with or without security,
    on the East Coast or at a Yaught Club, before the music stops, before the booze runs out, in the middle of supper, go home! Once people are milling around after that, there is going to be trouble.

      We need to know what God's word says to know what coming & that He us not a God who lies. All His covenants & promises spoken years ago have happened to date and I know the few ahead will be as written.
      I encourage you to isten to Jack Hibbs, Gary Hamrick & Les Feldick to name a few. Trust in Christ..He is our Ark today!

  • @StormSheldon

    Can't stop crying, Jamaine seemed like a sweet loving person and he didn't deserve to die like that.
    That Roger guy had dead looking eyes...the whole thing is so senseless...killing innocent people doesn't make you seem tough at all -just dumb. What an empty shell of an existence. Some Gang members come across as really weak people - like they live for their own EGO. All about portraying an image of strength but if you cant even control your own strength, that's just straight weakness. No discipline, no honour. What type of Man are you if don't even have that?
    On the other hand ...real Men, real strength looks like Jamaine. Loved his Women, loved their kids worked hard & fought for them.
    To his Whanau, I hope you heal, ...that good memories .....Jamaine's legacy- keep giving you strength, Kia Kaha.

    • @yvonnerahui8729
      @yvonnerahui8729 3 месяца назад +1

      Beautiful comment. Sadly that guy's eyes look dead vecause he probably feels so inside.
      No disrespect to Jermaines family..I am so sorry for them..my hope is they will find the life giver..the Lord above Lords -Jesus Christ..yet it saddens me that these young boys have aimlessly taken a life so brutally and made their lives worse. I reckon giving them a month in solitary might be the best medicine.. make them think about what they've done..let them cry like babies.
      Otherwise they get in a room with others & they will try & be the man??
      They need to be alone & think deep on what they've done. Think about the children at least.

      It was such a cruel death he went through..ounched, kicked then chased beaten & stabbed. Sorry but even those boys are young, they needed longer sentences..they'll be out by age 26!
      They do need a miracle touch from God for their hearts to change as all mankind does!
      We are all born with a nature to sin..and its anger in the heart that leads to murders..& rapes etc.
      Only Jesus can t
      give a man a new heart to love Him & walk in Hos light.

    • @yvonnerahui8729
      @yvonnerahui8729 3 месяца назад +2

      Well..I understand your anger but let's not let it lead to us to having murderous hearts! That's what the God of creation would call it: 'you've heard of old, thou shall not murder, but I say to you; he who has anger in his heart, it is as murder to Me'! Jesus speaking. God manifest in the flesh.
      This is why none can judge..because even 'he who looks at a woman with lust, it is as adultery to Me'. The same again.
      Saying 'may she rot in hell' is angry words..wishing death on someone. It doesn't make what they did right..but God makes the judgments calls not us & 'revenge is not ours says the Lord'.
      How many times would these young guys have heard such angry words as they grew up..again-not that it justifies them now of what they did but it annoys me too that some say this stuff & it means nothing..well Im saying that it does.
      All anger affects someone.

    I found the story heartbreaking. The challenges faced by those born into such a dangerous environment. As mentioned by the founder of the Grace Foundation, gang babies often have limited opportunities and are exposed to violence and substance abuse at a young age. It's crucial to address the root causes of gang involvement, such as poverty, lack of education, and social inequality. We need to provide support and resources to help these young people break free from the cycle of violence and build a better future. As adults we all need to be accountable for our poor decision making.

      Satans been on the rise & will show the full force of his evil soon..but only as Christ Jesus allows.
      We haven't wanted God to rule..not follow Jesus even after what He did for us in His death & resurrection. No we choose to follow our own path & let someone else tell us how to live.
      We don't search for truth we follow blindly like sheep..to eternity-for ever & ever. Oh how awful if without knowing Jesus.

    10 years and 5 years in prison what a kick in the teeth for poor Jamaines family and friends these animals should be locked up for life with no parole gosh drug dealers that havnt been violent get more than this senseless crime makes me sick to the stomach our so called justice system justice !! What justice those thugs will eventually get karma for what they done it won't happen over night but it will happen rest in peace jamaine deepest condolences to your loving whanau 😢💔

      He got life in prison. He only goes before a parole board after ten years. Even if he's ever released he can get recalled at any time. So it's a life sentence

    • @rachelcairns8896
      @rachelcairns8896 3 месяца назад

      @@NickThomsactually new law he appeals the life part of his sentence next year will still serve ten years but will be fighting again in court next year. Already sat in front of 2 parole boards to deny Rodgers bail he most likely will be out next year 😞

    • @MikeJones-m6r
      @MikeJones-m6r 3 месяца назад +1

      @@NickThoms nope, he's already in front of parole boards. And they very rarely ever call anyone back to prison, in fact they'll work harder to keep him on the street then to put him away.

There's a much better life out there without the gangs, drugs, the parties. Pass on all of it. Start from there and keep going. Arohanui Whanau kia kaha
