Donkey Kong will always be as good as Mario. The third one was the last of the SNES era so when it came out it wasn’t well known. The first one is the over all well balanced game.
The first DK game looked so advanced for 1994! The entire game and the artwork have great CGI for its time, and it was a year before Toy Story came out! They really pushed the SNES to the limit here with the graphics! ❤❤
I’m proud to say I had beaten and completed all three of them where I had seen the real endings that the second and third one had. A great pleasure for what SN had to offer.

Can someone help me? in this phase of the final boss, in the last part (in the very last part, after the message appears on the screen, at the minute of this video at 1:40:49) when he starts jumping, I can't dodge. I've seen in some videos the person passing under him when he jumps, but I can't do it at all. I always end up bumping into him and dying. Can someone help me? I've been stuck on this for months.
Would love for nintendo to give this the Mario vs Donkey Kong treatment. Just allow us people who couldn't master this game a chance to beat it....not saying make it super easy but a Funky Kong (The one they did for freeze) would be nice....and just no life's a death counter (like crash did with 4)
That DKC Rareware intro is iconic. Hard to imagine this trilogy is pushing 30 years! Can still remember playing them as a kid.

Man, that underwater level music in the original...... plus the Bramble and Web Woods levels in part 2. They really went all out with these games.

pretty sure that playing DKC3 in TUFST will give you the full 105%, playing regularly will give you 103%. i could be wrong however
