Stayed in quaint wee apartment above Linares restaurant, great location but be wary, bin men are out in force at 3-4 am and make some noise. The bins from all the shops and restaurants are gathered in that area.

We were there when lockdown started ,the year after was the only March we have missed in 20 years,and this year no show due to illness,but ready to book again now ,so it’s been lovely watching your videos

Talking to a lot of Locals Kevin when we were away and they are concerned about the amount of Chinese buying local businesses and the matter is going to be discussed so we heard in the Cabildo Insular (Canarian Parliament)Miami Beach for instance was family owned for 38 years and now it’s run by Chinese.They have all said they cannot compete when bidding for businesses.

Great location and just round the corner from O'BESO, the best Italian restaurant on the island. Apartments are similar to the Las Fuentes apartments just through the tunnel in that they are also block booked by a Scandinavian company.

Hey, as you are a seasoned traveller to this part of the world, I hope you can answer a question since google is not helping! I'm going to be arriving, with my 15yo son, at Arrecife airport at around midnight in July. Do you know if there will be taxis in the rank at that time? Or would you recommend booking in advance? We need to get to our hotel in Playa Blanca. Any advice greatly appreciated. 🙂
