Fascinating. Bigrep's "HI-TEMP CF" is PLA with 10% chopped carbon fiber. PLA by itself is supposed to be significantly stiffer than ABS. PLA with CF seems to about 75% more expensive so I wonder if normal PLA is good enough. Would be interesting to know the weights of each drum tested, especially ABS vs PLA-CF shells.
