I’ll try my best to explain it based on what I remembered from the wiki. In the Tsukihime remake, in Ciel’s route, Noel gets bitten by Vlov and freaks out, afraid that she’ll turn into a vampire. She’s also been dealing with an inferiority issue, since they make it clear Ciel is more skilled than she is as a vampire hunter and Mario (and no, not the one everyone knows and loves) treats her pretty bad too. Another character named Dr. Arach offers her a cure that should also make her stronger; Noel, in a moment of weakness, accepts, but it turns her into a Dead Apostle, and she ends up going on a rampage. Shiki and Ciel inevitably go and stop her, but when Noel begs Ciel to help her one last time, she explodes into thorns or something. She didn’t just drop dead fully intact. She’s straight up DEAD in the end of that route...! I’m probably missing a few points here, but it’s pretty tragic to me. She at least deserved a redemption arc (She lives and stays a normal human in Arcureid’s route though, so there’s that)...!
best track in the game tbh, I love the guitars combined with the church organ showing noel's past as an executor and present as a vampire, wasn't expecting the vocals either
It's crazy how many times I flashed back to Blood Drain Again in this song (and not because some segments sound just like it), clearly because it's that good a theme.
I love this theme! It feels totally new but like a bit of a love letter to other melty blood themes, Most particularly "Theme of Arcueid", "End of 1000 years(Red Arc Theme)" and "Troublesome Visitor (V.Akiha theme)". Especially 0:50 . That made me think of V.Akiha
The part at 0:50 reminds me more of Nightmare Teller, from the alternate Red Arc stage, which after the intense guitar, has a section with a long, drawn out chapel organ just like this.
I think it'd be really cool if Raito experimented with vocals more in stage/character themes and not just in Opening and Ending themes. This song is a good example.
spoiler warning for those for haven't read the remake(though this entire fucking character is a goddamn spoiler) - - - - - despite my gripes with her design here, i fucking adore the butterfly motif on it. plus i find her moments(both as a human and dead apostle in the novel) to be cool. her theme also perfectly shows off how this poor girl's basically become the one thing she's wanted to purge. truly a sad character that i wished had a happy ending of some sort..

Never really got past that point's trauma so once vampirified, regressed back to the age she was at her mental peak. In summary. Admittedly tho, bit too skimpy design wise. Coulda been like Rachel or smth while still keeping the butterfly motif. But eh, guess it's their call in the end.
