The birth of my son 10 years ago was similar to yours in so many ways and I say the weeks post birth were so much worse than the birth itself. Congratulations on the birth of your baby boy! I also had forceps and an episiotomy. My biggest fear was tearing and I ended up with a third degree tear. Honestly, it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be!
Don’t let people scare you about sleep! My baby is 6 months and been so good at sleep since birth and everyone says all the time just wait she won’t etc but 6 months in and we’re still good! Sometimes you just have a good sleeper ! Cx
I had episiotomy and no issues with healing. 2nd baby - tore naturally, no issues healing. You poor thing Molly ❤ Jude is such a beautiful bonny baby congratulations xxx
Congratulations on your beautiful baby boy! 🩵 I had the exact same situation as you with your forceps delivery and ruptured stitches with the infection, the drip and everything, I hadn’t heard of anyone else having it before I gave birth or after either, I cried so much having to stay in hospital too for it and I got put in a private room too, can’t believe how similar our experiences are. Such a traumatising experience, the aftermath is the worst for people like us! I was a month in and only just started feeling better too, i really wish it’s spoken about more as I was so naive about it too! 😢 We also have a miniature dachshund and ours is so protective of our baby and they are becoming little best friends!

Congratulations Molly! My bf slept on the hard floor for one night. Luckily we had our own room as I had a section & premature baby. They should definitely have more of the recliner chairs! X

Bless you. I had a second degree tear and I was in agony for about 12 weeks! So I feel your pain.
