Loving the wreath. My daughter said she was going to buy some wreath rings? I told her I'd forage and make. She asked if she needs wire. Nope, it's all in the weave. Nothing like a fully foraged wreath. ❤
They look awesome Danni, definitely better than my attempt this year 😂. My wife and I are more of the traditional Christmas kind of people, we hate all the plastic, tacky rubbish too.

@psyoperator most of these Christian Xmas practices stem from pagan roots; decorating trees, making wreaths, bringing the outside in etc. I’m not a religious person, I think nature and the earth should be the most respected ‘deity’ but I self-studied Wicca from age 11 when I first got internet access and that influenced me a lot growing up!

I admittedly dont know much about Wicca, but I would be curious if you consider the earth and other celestial bodies as conscious entities? My personal belief is that this physical reality we experience is a sort of mental simulation of a greater consciousness... and we are sort of fractal, self similar, conscious entities of this greater consciousness. I think our beliefs differ in the aspect that you would consider these physical material objects and nature as "God"... where I would consider them a sort of conscious mental simulation of "God". Not all that different than a computer simulation... but a mental simulation. Basically... I think consciousness is the only thing that exists... and all these physical things and nature are just stuff that we can perceive from our perspective within this mental construct... with our limited senses and perspective. IMO our reality is created in the same way that we can create our own realities and ideas with our own consciousness. If that makes sense? Kinda like a fractal dream of ever increasing consciousness and perspective.
