Welcome to the third episode of my DiscoverEU Interrail journey! 🚄 In this series, I'll be taking you along as I travel from Geneva all the way to Istanbul. In today's episode, we kick things off by exploring the beautiful city of Geneva!
I've explored Luzern and Zurich earlier in the day, soaking in all they have to offer. Later, I took a scenic train journey via Lugano, making my way to Milan. I'm excited to see what surprises the rest of the day has in store!

Your train wasn't going through the Gotthard base tunnel because a freight train was derailed in the tunnel and caused a huge damage on the tracks and the tunnel so trains can only run on one track and every passenger train has to go via the mountain line.
