Thanks you for the information. I am looking for solutions for my sliding door not closing. It closed until the last seconds, beeping and open again. I will follow your steps to troubleshooting mine.
Seems like that could be caused by the sensor on the front edge of the door that pushes against the B-pillar when it closes. It is a pinch sensor and when it goes bad, the door will close most of the way and then not go all the way due to the sensor. I mention it in mine, but it wasn’t my issue. There are some videos on YT that cover this which are worth checking out.
Yep, good old RVA. There are a few different items to check depending on exactly what he “not even a budge” means. Often with age the cables die which then kills the motor that is in the back of the van. Also, the actual rollers that run along the back of the door and slide down the outside of the van will die. Finally, if the doors don’t open (at all) it’s usually related to the latches that are inside the door.
I found the instructions on an Odyssey Forum. This should point you in the right direction. www.odyclub.com/threads/resetting-the-power-sliding-doors.48109/
I’m not sure if that is a question or statement, but yes, the body style changed in 2011 which is why I have 2011-2020 listed in the title of the video.
Thank you for any and all information on Honda Odyssey’s
I think I have some other videos about transmission and engine mounts on the channel as well.
