I think you underestimate how great Brent shirwin was. I’m not saying Brent was on JT’s level. But JT wasn’t on JT’s level in 2004 either. Shirwin was absolutely amazing in the early 2000s and had the best kicking game in the comp even when langer and johns were playing.

I'm not sure what year, but one time when JT was in crutches injured like around 2010, he came to my rugby training in Wulguru Townsville. No media or anything, just did it to be a top bloke.
Bulldogs massive loss 😂😂😂. They didn't want him cause he was to small!!. Went cowboy's and became 1 of the best player's in the world & best half back in the world!!. and achieved more then most bulldog player's that played with him 😅..
