"Fever" foi composta por Eddie Cooley e Otis Blackwell, e teve sua primeira gravação pelo cantor Little Willie John, 1m 1956 chegando ao top da "BillBoard Chart" como mais vendida no estilo de R&B (rhythm and blues). Sua segunda versão na voz de Peggy Lee em 1958 tornou o tema ainda mais famoso. Foi gravado também por Elvis Presley e universalizou-se de fato na versão de Madonna em 1992. Após tornar-se um clássico da música americana, ganha versões Jazzísticas e mais modernas Christina Aguilera, Michael Bublé e Beyoncé.
No concerto "Clássicos do Jazz" o arranjo por Alexandre Lunardeli foi baseado na versão de Michael Bublé, com timbre de voz similar ao de Felipe Coelho, que também traz solo de guitarra, em versão que trouxe notável reação do público!
