Absolutely fantastic Glenn. To anyone watching this who isn’t a member of the Black Clan, I say join, the content this guy creates is worth every penny, and his genuine passion and love for these magnificent places is a joy to behold. Personally the drone segment in this video for me was truly magical.
The sequence ending around 33:41 with the mist rolling in and covering the screen was spectacular - all of it. What a great walk - very many thanks for sharing it!
What i would give to be able to feel fit enough to get back out walking again and also I now need a drone what stunning shots it's made my brain melt a bit 😯
Just bloody awesome, I'm a southerner, I drive up to lakes as much as I can. My heart is there. When I go, that's where I want my ashes spread, a truly special place
Oh my god, I had to double check your username to make sure I hadn’t written this paragraph, I have the exact same sentiments regarding the lakes. Living in the South, can never wait to get back up there. Love the thought of my ashes being scattered across the lakes, with a my old mates chinking a few pints of old ale for me. The place is magical.
I'm from Hadleigh, Suffolk so I commiserate! Try to get up there every year but so jealous of those who get to walk every week. It's a special place @@jamieb741
I do think without a shadow of doubt you do put together the best videos, you put alot of detail into your day that you are showing, keep up the great work 👍
I'm struggling for words , I've done sharp edge once , I've walked along that top ridge along to Blease fell , the views are fantastic. Im currently getting used to a new job and this was just what i needed to take my mind away. Wow ! , memories... 😊👍 THANK YOU Glenn.
Glory be! Glenn has, finally, discovered the joy of a sit pad!! 🎉🎉😄 I'm sure I'm not the only one to previously mention his lack of one. Sometimes it's the little things that make the biggest difference! That looks like a fantastic route up Blencathra. I think I've found the one I want to do, next time I'm up in Lakeland. Those views were incredible! Thanks Glenn!! 😁
Drone footage was outstanding, I just keep playing it by back again and again, thanks Glenn that will live with me forever, retire soon and I'm going to do all them ridges at some point, cheers.👍
Just Wow! The difference from the last one is immense, loved this so much, you really captured the sheer awesomeness! My god the view from the summit is surreal! Thankyou so much for sharing this ❤
Fabulous scenery....what a great day out. Have done Blencathra a few times....now have the fear of heights/exposure so watching your videos brings back great memories. .... Thanks for sharing. Great stuff...
Hi Glenn, So glad you got the views in the end and I to, wanted to stay up there with you - so atmospheric. Always look forward to Monday evening's to see what you've uploaded next.👍
That drone footage combined with that music and one rum and coke, had me slightly tearful, and wondering where my life went 😀 but also it’s very uplifting to see the positive and beautiful side of living in the Uk, right now I also watch too much of Billy Moore All or nothing channel and like you he’s entertaining because he’s natural and gives off nice guy vibes, but his channel shows another side of the uk, so thank you for these wonderful videos 🤗
Brilliant Glenn...That was an amazing route on a beautiful day but what made this one was your drone and music footage ...just made it look so epic.. This was definitely at another level to many ...Thanks again 👏🏻👏🏻Can't wait to get up there👍🏻😁👍🏻
New subscriber here, I cant get out on hikes like this as I have an ongoing knee injury. Those views over the clouds are bloody stunning, and with that music it just made it special. Aswome drone footage.
Those views were your reward for all that struggle and suffering in the last video, incredible! Absolutely stunning up there, about as good as it gets. Agree about the snow, as much as it looks great, walking in it is so incredibly energy sapping.
Good morning Glen Omg it was worth waiting for but it was nice last time to but wow what beautiful scenery with the clouds and you look bit better then you did last time to looking forward to the next one Glen have a gd day 😊
It is gorgeous, but it's gorgeous because you get rain and snow. As a person who lives in a drought area where fires ravage every summer, we would LOVE to have rain, clouds, snow. Just enjoy. It's all God's creation and gorgeous.
Amazing gorgeous and beautiful drone footage. Blencathra is up there with one of the best 👌 Thank you for showing this beautiful route. Looking forward to next Sunday, your little guest might just be Finn. I'm thinking, yeah. 😊
Breathtakingly beautiful scenery captured thanks to your skill and endeavour. Wish I had been walking alongside you - but your video really is the next best thing. Thank Glenn. (Mind you if I had of been there it would have taken twice as long - as I am not that quick or steady on my feet these days). I have just joined your Patreon as an Elder to support your work.
I’ve done Blencathra a good few times now, and in all kinds of conditions. This vid certainly does it justice, and that drone footage is simply jaw-dropping! Thank you…👍
Gorgeous. I have often had the don’t want to leave feeling. Blencathra was one (summer conditions, though) Pike O’ Blisco and Fleetwith Pike were a couple of others. We’re so lucky having all of this in our county 😊
Second time lucky! Love Blencathra; it has everything - views, a stunning tarn, a bunch of ascent options - I think more than any other mountain in the Lakes. Hall’s fell ridge and Doddick fell are the best routes up in my opinion - quieter than others and unmatched for views. That drone footage was immense, as were the stills!!! Will look out for your footprints when I’m there next week. Great joining you as always buddy!
That drone footage from the summit is just incredible. On another level that. I bet you didn't want to leave the summit today. Only been up Blencathra once and I guess I did get lucky to get it clear. When I am back in the UK in the Summer I think I will need to venture here again. Nothing like this in Dubai :) Cheers for the vlogs. Still loving watching them all on a weekly basis. Stuart.
Just hope the Lake District stays as beautiful as depicted here. The incredible amount of new build houses devouring my West Yorkshire countryside (and everywhere I go) is astonishing. Let us hope the few fragments of loveliness left in this country can survive
I've never seen the summit ridge looking as spectacular as that. I agree with you I think the snow clinging to the edge enhanced the scale & beauty of that day. The stars definitely aligned for you that day.
Great video Glenn. We've been to the summit a few times, and that drone footage at the top was absolutely bonkers beautiful. I replayed a few times on my TV and was wishing we were there.
I was very pleased to see by the end of last weeks video that you turned back. This is an amazing comeback video, perfect weather and great views. You looked like you had the spring back in your step. I've never ascended that way before, but next time, Im going to give it a go.
Living down the coast in Whitehaven makes this so special as people come to Lake District but never get to experience this part in all it's beauty. Well done mate. Keep it up. 👍
One of the finest views ever! It really is magnificent, there are some Vlogs coming close like Striding Edge, Mossdale Horseshoe, Pike o Blisco, Langdale Pikes, Raven Crag and the rest. This video has the most staggeringly gorgeous cloud inversions. 😮 I thought I'd Died and gone to Heaven! 😉What more can I say!....Apart from thank you so much, Glenn. 👌👌👌
Stunning Glenn. Nothing like Blencathra! Haven't been up that route but looks as spectacular as Halls Fell Ridge which is one of my favourites in the Lakes. Now top of my list to do! Many thanks.
got the feels watching this one Glenn! Intend on trying this route for myself. The drone footage above the clouds is content goals right there! 🔥👏🏼 Keep up the good work. Tom
You've gone and done it again, Glenn, it's been ages since I climbed Blencathra via Doddick Fell/ridge but having enjoyed your video so much I'm going to have to do it (again) and will quite possibly follows your route. I didn't mute btw and actually quite enjoyed your wafflage (as usual). It's a 👍from me, keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to Lonscale Fell already. will you ascend via the increasingly steep East ridge, direct to Lonscale Pike's summit, I wonder. 🤔
Oh wow! That drone footage was just magical! Probably some of the best I have seen in all your videos. Loved the route up and walking the full length of the top ridge was great, even if you did get a little bit too close to the edge for my liking at times 😀 Sit mats are great, but always remember to pick them up again when you set off, remember my comment from last week about leaving mine in the snow on Mungrisedale Common 🤣 Ps I have got my fingers crossed that next weeks special guest is our favourite four legged friend 🤞🐕
OMG, you're above the clouds! I had no idea you were climbing that high, I'm a bit of a mountain novice. It's absolutely stunning. Very scary to think you could fall, but so beautiful to see x
What a day for it, poifect! Blencas always used to intimidate me, looks lovely but big and scary from the A66, was the last wainright I did. Cant get enough of it now, was up there Saturday in every form of weather you could have, views were spectacular though!
What absolutely amazing views. I feel you've suffered rather a lot in some of your recent hikes - especially the long distance walks. So I was delighted you got perfect conditions today. Wonderful stuff
Best night of the week Glen, thankyou. You go places I can only dream of & you DO take me with you....fear of heights, me?😂 Your drone footage is just the best, like a bird flying in the wind...wow❤
Whats a fantastic piece of video, the summit ridge was stunning. Thank you, that was great, in particular some of the drone sequences, but the views in general.
Hi Glenn x wow 🤩 absolutely fantastic hike thank you sooo much the drone footage was spectacular!!! All of it was and so well done you not easy to get up there! … how funny you said it “looks like heaven how you would expect heaven to look” as you said that I was thinking that exactly the same time lol how beautiful it was and please may I say never!! Love that outro music 🎶
One of your best videos ever! Those views were amazing.
I quite agree. Stunning drone footage from the top. Absolutely beautiful.
Just bloody awesome, I'm a southerner, I drive up to lakes as much as I can. My heart is there. When I go, that's where I want my ashes spread, a truly special place
One of these days, Scafell Pike will be higher due to all the remains spread there
I'm a southerner too , Colchester in Essex.
And I absolutely love the Lake District... seriously miss it.

The best thing about a Sunday evening! Just back from a day on the Northumbrian coast, inspired by Glenn’s travels with Finn
Watching this took my breath away. It was absolutely stunning. I can't thank you enough for taking us along with you. 🙏

Absolutely stunning drone footage from the summit! Beautiful! I've done Blencathra loads but never seen the clouds like that. Just gorgeous!!
Had to pause you on the tv to say a huge thank you for the drone footage, with accompanying music, from the summit. Sublime. 👌👌👍
I am just doing the same! Bliss.
agreed! 🙌
Just Wow! The difference from the last one is immense, loved this so much, you really captured the sheer awesomeness! My god the view from the summit is surreal! Thankyou so much for sharing this ❤
