      That futher enforces the fact that people with common incomes, over time, and with determination can have a successful retirement. It just takes detication, and of course a decent income, or fighting chance, and you will get there.

    Hi Ronnie, I’ll be down to get some of those greens from you, greens l never go wrong with them plus a good couple of slices of cornbread, looking forward to your continued content in your videos, also I’m not far behind you in retirement, it will be 3 yrs for me in December 2025, and l have no regrets being retired, 1 thing you mentioned is being relaxed, same here for me, l can remember times coming hm from work EXHAUSTED, l sometimes would sit on the basement steps for about 5 minutes or so because l had to get my energy back up just to walk up a few steps, so being retired is a wonderful feeling, what l try and do is show support for those that are still working ie being sure to say thank you to the clerk in the grocery store, etc listening to a family member about issues they have on their job, letting them know that l had to put up with a lot in my career etc, plus they know too that if they ever need a ride to work because of a car issue I’m available to take them to work and pick them up, l could go on and on which l probably have but I’m sure you get the picture Thanks Ronnie

    I implemented a strict budgeting strategy to track expenses and set clear limits, while also focusing on a smart investment approach. In just six months, my investments grew by over R700,000, boosting my savings and financial confidence. This combined strategy has set me on track to achieve my long-term financial goals, and i'm hoping to get to a three million plus this 2025, so help me God

    Ronnie, so glad that you and your wife took time to slow down, enjoy the holidays and each other. I have been retired for 5 years after having both knees replaced in 2019. No issues with filling my day …house chores, yard chores( took them over), friends, books, etc. Now, in March, my husband will join me in retirement. Navigating that huge change will be yet another interesting and challenging journey in our 53 + years together. Your channel has been a wonderful addition to my lineup of content. I really enjoy your content, your honesty and your simple way of telling it like it is….at least for you. Wishing you a healthy, peaceful, joyful 2025!

    Ronnie you have inspired me to retire this year. You have given me hope that i can do this. Just hanging on for a few more months until i can take early SS. I am so ready. Some You Tuber videos talk about a million dollars this and a million dollars that ......most people dont have that. Inspiring people to be debt free and live a life of frugality and reasonable spending is reality.

    • @jeffcokenour3459

      Amen. My dad and his wife retired 25 years ago and they didn't have nearly a million dollars. He's now 84 and doing great. My mother-in-law lives on the insurance and savings that my late father-in-law left for her which is nowhere near a million dollars but she spends all of her days quilting with her friends and traveling around to different quilt shops, enjoying life. If you have little or no debt you don't need anywhere near a million dollars to retire unless you plan to jet set around the world everyday

    Happy New Year! I turn 47 next week. Your channel and a few others have inspired me to accelerate my retirement plans. It’s sinking in that I want to be time rich as there will always be a financial reason to keep working…so I put the financial reason down and focusing on me buying my time. Growing up my parents instilled in me that I would go to college after high school…I’m fortunate enough to have been born at a time when it was affordable and there was still a ROI on certain degrees. I say all this to say, it was a given for me growing up…at 18 I go to college. Well I embracing that same belief for retirement- at 55 I retire. I can’t predict the future, but me and my husband are debt free with the exception of our mortgage which we will have paid off by December 2025. It tickles me to know that beginning jn 2026 our income will be for our daily living expenses and for our retirement nest egg. I’m just so grateful to have found your channel, and for all the rest of us who are on this journey…best of luck and we can do this!

    Happy New Year, Ronnie! I’m happy you had a nice holiday break! Mine was great too! I know exactly how you feel! Every morning when I get up and have my coffee and am relaxing, I’m grinning every time I think “oh, I am so happy I’m retired”! Like you, I function better with routines but agree that doing something spur of the moment is great. Being retired - It never gets old. Even after three years. When I was still working, I always dreaded going back to work after the holiday break and the stress of all that. But now that’s all in the past😝 I’m looking forward to all the future content. Love the title “Aging with Attitude”
    Thanks and see you soon, my friend.

    Hi Ronnie! Thank you for all this info...I would personally LOVE to know more about starting a homestead property. I currently live in Boston and am selling my home hopefully by the summer...I am planning on retiring at the end of this year, THANKS TO YOU (and my good financial choices the last 58 years). I am planning on buying a home on a very large lot in South Carolina that I want to turn into my soul nurturing homestead, so any information on getting started would be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance....lol

      I would like to think so. It is difficult to be happy when people torture you with emotions of inferiority and guilt. Apparently, my role in life is to hear how perfect Bonnie and Terry Tipton as well as Noones are. The word "guilt" or "flaw" apparently cannot apply to them under any circumstances. They have all of the answers to everything. My life is always miserable around them. All of their conversations indicate they believe they are flawless. They always talk about the inferiority of others. And that is their attitude towards . What specifically makes them perfect, and superior human beings because that is exactly how they talk. If it is the case, why does someone or some group want me miserable all of the time. Torture the above with inferiority and see how they like it. They give every impression they do believe they are morally perfect: impossible to be selfish, impossible to be dishonest, impossible, impossible to be envious. I hate being around them. Maybe some group has been trying to prove I am deceptive? Is that it? Because they believe they are the manifestation of perfection on Earth, torture them guilt, that is my wish. The pain and misery for me is unbelievable. I just want to get away from them so they do not get me ro commit suicide. PUT THEM ALL IN THEIR PLACE. THAT IS MY DREAM. MAYBE SOMEONE IS TRYING TO PROVE I AM DECEPTVE.. i DO NOT WANT TO EVER TAKLK TO THEM AGAIN BECAUSE THEY BELIEVE THEY ARE PERFECT AND SUPERIOR, EVEN TO ALL NFL AND COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYERS.

    • @ChrisVink-b5b
      @ChrisVink-b5b 17 дней назад

      Why don't the Tiptons and Noones ever express any feeling of ever being wrong, ever express any feeling of guilt. Al they express is about how others should feel guilt and be wrong. I DO NOT LIKE BEING AROUND BONNIE TIPTON BECAUSE THEY ALWAYS EXPRESS THEMSELVES AS SUPERIOR AND PERFECT PEOPLE,. I am trapped with them financially. They and the Noones will get me to commit suicide. I AM CONVINCED THE TIPTONS AND NOONES BELIEVE THEY CAN NEVER BE DISHONEST. I WANT SOMEONE TO GET ME AWAY FROM THEM. i DO NOT TRUST BECAUSE THEY BELIEVE THEY ARE THE MANIFESTATION OF PERFECTION ON EARTH AND SO SUPERIOR TO OTHER PEOPLE.

    57 in 3 days , 5 more years of mortgage bondage( not the fun kind 😏). Had a epiphany over the last 4 months after suffering burnout followed by multiple illnesses. Life is short and I needed to start working for me by starting a plan. Next 2 years , I am booking 2 weeks leave every 10 weeks ( yes I get 8 weeks PTO), irrespective of work commitments and travelling ( forces me to not be able to cancel). After 2 years I get long service leave which with all my other leave plus savings I can take a gap year. At 60 I have access to my super ( 401k for you Americans)as a top up if need be . Will continue to take my 4 trips a year but have the opportunity to taper work down to 4 day weeks, maybe 3 day weeks and see how little we can live on. Calling this my transition period. Before 62 we will be debt free and could both fully retire on super.
