Troy, YOU are fabulous! I appreciate your guts coping with anxiety. You are simply charming. I wish the best for you. Keep moving. Movement is medicine!!
Thank you for posting this! (I came here from the UK via the Alinker newsletter) it looks amazing and must be wonderful to be ‘tall’, safe and active !
Thinking if getting one. But not sure where they are allowed? Banks, gyms, grocery stores. I would not be able to lock it up so I would go in to handle business. Thanks Troy
Hi Mary 🙋🏻♂️ I’m not sure either but if I was less handicapped I would take it in all of those places. If my wheelchair is allowed inside then so is the Alinker :)
@@troypettit2332 Thank you Troy. Just thought that the Alinker would be thought of a bike whih I know are not allowed in businesses. I may just need to try it and see if businesses would not allow one. :)
I really think it’s the Large size but it’s not on their website :/ I would get their ‘medium’ size now (the largest) But I recommend measuring your ‘inseam’ Sorry for being confused!
Thanks Alan! I really appreciate it and sorry to hear that. It will definitely help you get moving though! They’re very stable and most people rip around on them. :) I’m feeling okay though, shaking off this ms flare up from a couple of weeks ago 😊
I am thinking of sharing part of your video in a newsletter, would you mind? You show and explain so much! Super helpful for people who consider enrolling in the Alinker Academy
Hey Anne Marie! I highly recommend it! I wish I had one many years ago. Check out their instagram if you haven’t, the_alinker_world And thank you! :) I definitely should do that.
Glad I found your channel. I am a "MS newbie" (just diagnosed last month) and really find these videos to be a good support. My legs are getting more "messed up" over the last few months; not expecting to have to use what you are using yet but have started to use a cane. Was it a quick progression for you from "cane to chair"? Wishing you all the best, Troy.
Agh. I’m sorry that you were recently diagnosed, Russ and having some leg problems lately but I would recommend walking and using them as much as you can on good days. MS affects everyone a little differently so don’t let my handicap scare you 😅 I’m not very good at managing it ha. The cane is great but try to have it as backup in case you lose balance or something. I used a cane for a couple of years but leaned on it too much ha. I could probably still use a walker but it would make daily life “cooking and cleaning” so much more challenging. And thanks for the positive vibes!🙏🏻 Back at ya!
I really enjoyed Troys videos. BE would you know if the Alinker is allowed in businesses? Is the Alinker considered a mobility device like a rollator or a bicycle? I live in the USA. Thank you
@@marylightfoot4817 yes you can take it inside malls and museums etc. It is your walk assist and it fits within the footprint of a wheelchair, so should be allowed everywhere a wheelchair can go
Thank you so much. Same to you! It’s great on hills. Especially down hill for me haha. I can only creep up small hills while keeping my hand on the brake ha
Hey thanks! I think I had an ms attack or relapse the other day and moved cities during the summer but your right. I should share my current situation. 😅
Thanks for posting your video and I wish you the very best. I have neuropathy in my feet and balance is bad. I am looking to buy an Alinker, because I think I will have more options for getting out an about. Again I wish you the very best with the new medications❤🩹

Good luck to you...............
The part about the Alinker is awesome. :)
Thank you! Same to you!
Excellent video Troy, I wish you all the best, and keep striding!
Dude, your video is more inspirational than you may ever know. Thank you for taking time to record it...even though you are talking to your phone! :)
Haha. :)
Thanks for the message Daron! I really appreciate it 👊🏻

There are so many great things about sitting up high and having your legs working.
This video made my day. Thank you, Sir. I truly admire you and wish you all the best! 🥇

It is a great bike after they have pushed it with their feet they can pick up their feet and ride it without pushing their feet.
Thanks for sharing brother, proud of you!
What size Alinker have you got Troy?

@@troypettit2332 thanks for responding. I’ll measure and ask them 👍
Great video, hope you’re having better days.
Thank you so much!

Thank you. I hope you are ok 👍🏻
Thank you....going back watching seat place placement on older videos.Hope you are doing well😁
It’s a little easier to walk with a higher seat but sometimes it’s trickier to get on hah :)

Of course! I wish I could have shown more but that’s all I could manage that day ha
More power to you, Troy! 💪😀👍
I just watched your video and it makes me want an Alinker even more! When are you doing your next video? I’m looking forward to it.

That’s awesome! You’ll love it!
Thank you showing how you use this. Is it difficult on hills? Peace and health to you
