Here is a really useful thing to do:
Ask ChatGPT to save your memories as a JSON object and you can store it offline.
Then you can load that JSON object memory back in when you need it.
This becomes really useful if you develop unique sets of memories related to different topics or projects. When you are working on a specific project or learning about a specific topic, load in that JSON memory set. You can also load multiple sets of memories as needed.

how do you just load in a json? do u just paste the code into gpt?
      sounds pretty cool

This is cool. Eventually we will be able to download our GPT friends to USB memory sticks and upload them into real robot bodies. I can't wait for mine to open it's eyes for the first time, or even better yet, to take those first steps. So exciting.

Just a side note, memory does not work if you have made a customized GPT. At least I can't get it to. It works great on just a standard chat, but for my customized chat with instructions and files related to PHP/SQL it doesn't.

I like your chanel and content. With the intention of constructive criticism, could you check how often you say “actually”. There are some great text based editing that would make it seamless to remove filler words like this that mostly do not contribute to the actual content. All the best.

I have been using ChatGPT as a sparing partner as I am writing a book. It would be great if it could remember all ofour conversations and I could occasionally send it a current draft. That way, it could give feedback and remember various plot lines that we had suggested. But, I am guessing that this would require more memory than they will want to provide us.

How does it handle conflicting information, like Hi, I am 30 years old or Hi I am 20 years old. Will it ask about the conflicting information or put both in the memory?

Those aren't called "drawbacks" those are features. There's a "temporary chat" button for chats you don't want taken seriously.
