Wow, thats gotta be one of the best looking videos you've ever made. The forest with the fog was absolutely breathtaking! Also congrats for your new sponsor!
What I think I just watched was Dale doing push ups and handstands for 15 minutes. That trail looked incredibly steep and I can just imagine the arm fatigue by the end of that run. Great job :)
IMBY rocks! Great to see them supporting you Dale they are a great addition to the local bike shops. They even had magura brake hose bits in stock when I visited which isnt common around here.
Most videos NEVER quite convey elevation changes and steepness. The fact that this one actually LOOKS steep lends to just how steep it actually is, and it's absolutely amazing! Side note : Being raised in Bentonville, AR and riding since '08, when the scene started exploding here, I gotta say, if a job required me to move ANYWHERE in the BC area, I'd be packed and ready within 48 hours WITH A SMILE!
Seriously outstanding footage, wish I could ride there, just so beautiful in the fog and the decent looks never ending your chanel is worthy of way more attention than your humble expression demands.
I only watch you and Dangerous Dave because the trails you ride on remind me of the trails I went on as a kid. I grew up in a similar area and all the plants and trees all are the same type.
Great looking trail! Cool to see a proper bike shop out PoCo way, back in the day pretty much the only decent shop around was The Ridge in Port Moody where I bought my first few bikes. Also seems like Burke really grew up, great to have some local trails. That PoCo to North Van or Burnaby drive kinda sucked to hit every Saturday!
I ride these trail vicariously through your footage dude, not only because I'm nowhere near you, but don't have a suitable downhill bike... So keep up the filming man, I suspect I'm not the only one like me!
I feel ya on that. It looks like an intermediate flow trail until you're actually looking up at the grade. Dale makes it look easier but the "whoops" tell the story.
Such a fun trail. Love the lower section. Didn't get a chance to ride the upper section as wasn't accessible by truck when we went. But lower section is so much fun
I saw this video yesterday, and today I made the trip out from West Vancouver to check them out. Insane selection of great products and ended up picking up alu one up petals and an evoc backpack. Will now be my go to bike shop for everything. Thanks for sharing it
if you ever visit switzerland again, you have to check out a secret trail in zurich. Its basically 3km of steep loam. Btw the trail from your vid looks really amazing, i would love to ride it!
That was intense! Had to remind myself to breathe watching that! After my own experience of scaring myself $h1tl355 just yesterday on some really muddy and slippy steeps...that was relly great to watch
There's not much ground cover, which makes it easy to see through all the trees with the mystical mist. In my home island (with the same sort of temperate rainforest), the MTB trails are abounding in fern trees (the 4-metre/13ft kind) and moss (rain everywhere), as well as 100-metre trees (more in the south). There are videos, you can see the Blue Tier (the most famous world-class one, hosted Enduro at Derby), and it does get misty silvagenitus quite often, but there aren't videos showing that. #savetakayna yep.
Felt like you guys were riding through a scene of the Blair Witch Project in the beginning (does that date me?)! Anyway that was GoPro steep, so yup, steep. That switchback that had both you and Dave whooping it up earlier in the video had me flinching just watching. Nice one all ‘round. I’ll for sure use IMBY next time I need stuff for the bike and will happily mention your name.
Does IMBY do any work on road bikes? I've got a Marinoni frame that I've been wanting to complete but looking for the right shop to help with the project.
@@DaleStone that was speedy. The bike is complete with the exception of cranks, wheels and a good tune up. So I guess my best bet is head over and chat in person. Thanks so much for the info, much appreciated 👌
@@DaleStone just upload the film of one of those semi-regular rides where you don’t finish by sunset! 😂 kidding aside, one good vid of a night ride would be cool.
I want to ride that trail so bad but, understand why the location is secret that is one of the best looking trails I’ve ever seen, literally like a 12 minute loamer. It would not be smart to give away the location of something as special as that.
This mentality is so selfish and...dare I say...American. On one side I get it, but the bigger argument is that trails are meant to be ridden and shared. As good as a trail is, at one moment you still get bored and want to try trails built by others.
@@joshward4712 I mean it is good, but nothing extraordinary. Anyway overall I don't get the "secret trail" mentality, which I think is a consequence of a bigger societal problem. Note: I am based in EU and the place I love/ride the most is Finale Ligure.
Maaaaan .. this looks soo good !! But, cause I'm running my gopro 8 on every ride n viewing while I eat dinner, I can very much tell how steep the 'steeps' are !! Super clear vid !! Gopro 10 or what ? And the fog just made it even better !! I'm in Hood River, Oregon n we got alot of really fun but easy trails, and easy jump trails with features galore !! Garth Hardin on utube to see some. Ride Jump or Wither !! Peace !
Wow, thats gotta be one of the best looking videos you've ever made. The forest with the fog was absolutely breathtaking! Also congrats for your new sponsor!
The steepness isn’t obvious when you head downhill, but when you traverse it looks terrifying.
Man the sound of your tires on that ground just hits me in all the right spots... Great riding, as always. Keep it up!
No angry cloud of hornets chasing Dale around! The silent hubs are sooo good.
*the ol' sometimes silent SLX hubs... 😬
That's some seriously steep trail sir. Thanks to your LBS for supporting you and vice versa!
That is dream track ... One of the best I have ever seen. I envy you buddy :D
Going downhill for 15min is hard AF, great job.

Second that. When I broke my chain a month ago they were the only shop I could find that had stock haha. Run by some very friendly people as well
That’s some terrain, gonna have to watch all your videos. Really good channel.

My brake lever fingers are tired just from watching. Amazing trail. Love the steeps...but not for so far.

One of the best MB clips I’ve seen on RUclips. Brave! 🤘🏽
That was so sick, watched it the whole way through and frickin loved the POV!
That's pretty much a set a brake pads just that one trail! Amazing!
This was just so satisfying to watch, no other word discribes this video better :)
Keep making videos like this :)
That dirt, pinch, vert is amazing! Sooo good
'They call me linus stone'
Even your section headers are good
When it looks steep on a GoPro, that's when you know its steep
great rider! reminds me of the steep tech i got introduced to today, and how I too love teese kind of trails
This new MTB game looks pretty sick! I just hope they will improve the draw distance with the next update.

Heck yeah, that's awesome!
you know it's steep when you see the trees growing right at you
you know it's steep when your foot says hello in the bottom of the video frame sometimes
Sick riding dale! Keep up the great videos😁
Sunday night and new Dale Stone video!!!! Oh yeah!!!!!!
wow this was a great video, forest looked beautiful, keep it up dale
Next Sunday may be equally beautiful... 👀
Your handle bars always look like their about to clip a tree, and then you swerve, got me on the edge of my seat lol.
Definitely scares me too sometimes. 🙈
That was brilliant Dale
Such a beautiful forest ❤
This video is gonna blow up because of that thumbnail. Unreal views!

Great braking at 11:54!
Even with the fog? You got some skills man.
Great riding mate 🤘🏆

Wow class looking trail sooo steep
A grizzly on those trails world be an absolute nightmare!... I don't think we'd make it
Definitely not!
Ddang bbro! Smooth riding
Wow! Your GoPro footage look amazing! Could you make a video explaining your settings?
Thanks, maybe one day!
outta control section is some serious elevation loss in a matter of seconds
Trail looks so sick
oh my that dirt looks nice
looks like a scary foggy forest out of a horror movie
So good.. makes our British tracks look tiny in comparison… should be named The Postman because it keeps delivering
That's what I thought. Can't imagine riding anything that long
