The armor stat is stupid strong for the auto resolve calculation. This is why slannesh is a terrible faction to play in the late game if you're using any unit that isn't chosen. Any form of tactics (like using demonetts to flank and route units super quick or corner camping as dwarves) has no weight in that calculation, just raw stat numbers.

Physical resistance is also terribly strong for calculating even the team contains many magic attack. Attacking against savage orcs or ghostly things makes auto-resolving taken many casualties.
This is the best meme, I come back once in a while to re-watch and have a good laugh. This play style makes the Skaven even extra-skavenish, which is an achievement in itself. That lord really synergises with your goal.

I remember one skaven playthrough i had a lot of progress using skavenslaves and clan rats ... Until i hit the lizardmen with their saurus warriors. The armor on those basic warriors made it feel like my army was plinking away doing nothing no matter how i flanked
I bet your micro skills had to be top notch to, as Legend says, *"Throw trash at the enemy army! Fight them with trash!"* I'm amazed you did so well with the worst infantry unit in the game with no armor piercing! Good think the human factions around you depend so heavily on ranged combat...
Only reason Azhag declared war on you was probably because you made deal with Vlad. Azhag always end up in the war with Vlad, even with his relationship boost with Vampires. Its 40 aversion for 40 boost, but still. Even if you play Azhag, Vlad will very likelly declare war on you soon or later. Its really stupid, but you can get alot of money from his settlements at least. Its weird, because Skavens usually go well with greenskins. Its pretty rare to see Skavens declare war to greenskins faction or vice versa. Anti-player bias sucks.

The fun part with skavenslaves is that you an do fun things like field 2 full armies with them early. Since they are shit you cant autoresolve but what you can do is properly swamp much, much tougher armies.
Honestly, random placement would make this harder 9/10 times. Kislev is a pretty favorable matchup for the skavenslaves in the early-game. Definitely give it a shot though, sounds really fun.

You could have recruited 1-1 plage priest for buffing, or even if 1-1 from all heroe type it would be still epic, but seeing your choice, it is just a real slanesh fanatic way! 🤣
Pro tip, using gold value in campaign is not the way to determine how a unit has done, since army values vary widely. The only mode that cares about gold value is multiplayer due to limited funds.
Unless wh3 replaced clanrats of menace from below with skavenslaves, you've already failed your criteria in first battle. Oh and I see you summoning ratogres as well. You really should have specified, that summoned units don't count.
Seems like some of these guys are starting the game on Very Hard, then loading a Normal game the way the enemies route and fight for the entertainment value. Just saying.
It would be extremely easy for an experienced player to detect this. I just made sure to apply nearly every available leadership debuff when fighting and chose fights carefully.
