    Those bits at the sides where it was missed was where it was pinched. How do you prevent a mark when pinching gel?

    I tried doing white ombre on my practice finger & turned out horrible. I think it was because the consistency of my gel. Yours looks great! 😍

      Keep practicing! Your gels do make a huge difference, the white I used is a builder gel, so it's a slightly thicker gel, but it's also in your blending too. Ombré is a bit of practice, just keep working on it. You'll get it! 😘

    i have that problem everytime i do my nails, file the side walls too much ( not free edge side wall, but nail bed sidewall, exactly where you done yours) once I was filing the builder gel down for a refill and because I filed too much the sides started to lift, the I tried fixing it and cuticle area lifted, ended up filing it all off and did that nail from start. how do I prevent this? and what am I doing wrong? (part from the obvious of filing too much lol, but how do I know when enough is enough?) I just always find a lump of gel cured when I push my side wall skin back, because the gel just gathers there and then I try and file it down to fix, but then it comes off. aaaahh please help! but gorgous ombre nail! I'm wanting to try it out once I buy some white gel:) thanks for sharing the video, great help! xox

      Molly Moo sounds like an application issue, or product control. If the gel is pooling, you need to work on that. Without seeing the nail, it's hard to say for sure.

      Robyn Schwartz yeah I'm a beginner sorry forgot to mention, just practice on myself bcz i just do overlays for strength.

    What is the difference between Akzentz gel line and Pro balance gel line? Confused. Im thinking Akzentz clear is for the building part of it and the Pro balance is for color but both have color pots so im lost. LOL

    what would the process for a fill be with this nail?

    • @RobynSchwartzNailDesign
      @RobynSchwartzNailDesign  8 лет назад

      If the client is keeping an ombré, then I would just file the needed fill area, and reapply the pink and rebalance. The white should be ok after a few weeks so there shouldn't be a need to move it. If it's a design change, then I'd file it off and fill as usual.

    What is the fill and removal process for the Pro Formance Gel?

    • @RobynSchwartzNailDesign
      @RobynSchwartzNailDesign  8 лет назад

      Proformance is a hard gel, so it's file off. Your fill would be as you usually do with hard gels. If you would like to, you can message me on my fb page - facebook.com/robynsbeautyplace and I can help you with product questions. ;)

    I thought this thick liquid on a brush was acrylic? I read gel has less toxins, is thinner & more natural looking. Can you soak this gel off tho?
    Thx hope you can help me out! xx

      +Mio Vinter this demo is gel, you can get this look using acrylic too. i'm using akzentz proformance hard gel, you can use a soak off gel as well.
      gel and acrylic are essentially made of a similar base, and formulated differently to create either self curing acrylic or an led or uv gel. the finished nail created with good quality products will be a strong, thin nail that is very natural looking. it all comes down to product preference.
      if you're needing product knowledge info, i would suggest talking to your rep and getting in on classes too. :)

    Great video! I have a couple questions. Have you ever sculpted the nail first, then filed to shape and done the French ombre with soak off gel or a thin white gel? I'm having problems with the white looking balanced. Where did you purchase the little clear square dish? T

      @RobynSchwartzNailDesign  7 лет назад

      Ardelle's Nails you can use coloured soak off gels for your French ombre. I find it's all about the consistency of the gel that you're using as to how easily it blends. I like using. Akzentz gel art white, and a more opaque pink or neutral colour to blend them with. I use a tapping or patting motion to blend the white down, then the colour up.
      The clear glass tile I think I picked it up at a dollar store.

    If i use UV, during your 30 sec cures in the middle of the "process" are They 2 minutes as well or just the last final Cure?

    • @RobynSchwartzNailDesign
      @RobynSchwartzNailDesign  8 лет назад

      Yup. So, with your UV lamp, your freeze cure should be at least 15 seconds, and your finish cure before filing needs to be the full 2 minutes.
