Both of my children 😢 one considers herself bisexuality and the other considers herself nonbinary. I blame this on the public school system and my ex-husband convincing my youngest she should not be a girl. He has custody now because not calling her they/them or calling ger by her given name is considered abuse. Lord help them. Lord help me 💔. All I can do is pray and trust Jesus.

I was once deceived by YA books glorifying LGBT relationships, but God eventually worked in my heart to see that He is right in His design. I think it’s really important to empathize with supporters/members of LGBT. I think the whole movement is fuelled by desire to be compassionate to people who were once oppressed, even persecuted because of desires they did not choose. Now that doesn’t justify the desires, but let’s humanize those who are lost in sin, and treat them with love like Jesus did. Through prayer, love and guidance, I believe God can bring back anyone deceived by our culture
I'm not justifying anything, I think these books are still problematic, but I mean, if she was only exposed to it at 16, shouldn't you be rather happy that no one did it earlier? When you compare what others have already been exposed to at this age... Not that I'm proud of that, but I think at 16 I already had my first failed attempt to quit porn addiction. But that's a different topic. I think we can't shield the children from how twisted this world is. We need to prepare them. If parents don't dare to bring up these topics, someone else will. And I doubt that this person will do it in a good way. Children, as soon as they can, must learn to protect themselves, because it's literally impossible to do it for them.
Wonderful. A sex ed programme to do with your family who know you and love you, instead of a school programme with friends and adults who may have very different values and pose as an authority on the subject. May it be a blessing and a help to many.
My 12 yr old son has recently come out to his therapist. It seems surreal as I am typing these words. My heart is broken for him. He gets right on the verge of telling his father and I, then he breaks down in tears and walks away. He says he wants tell us something "but its not good". He also has severe anxiety. What is happening to my beautiful son who used to be so full of life? He used to love going to church. Our family has been caught up the last 9 years or so in my husbands alcoholism. He has been in recovery since March. Our children in the meantime have been raised by the internet. I already have 2 adult children out in the world starting their own families. It was a different time for my older kids. I was there and I was present. Involved. They did not have access to everything that is out there now. I pray for him and for God to help me to know what to say. His name is Christopher if anyone would like to pray for him with me. Thank you.

Beckett, a family member sent me a link to your pod cast a few months ago. It truly has given me strength. My husband and I raised our children in Christian home and schools. We were by no means perfect but I clung to the Bible verse Proverbs 22:6 knowing God can overcome any of my failures My children are all adults and no longer attend church, which saddens me More recently my youngest son started dating a trans woman. I never saw that coming. He’s quite conservative in many of his political beliefs and just in general it really caught me off guard I’ve cried a lot of tears prayed a lot of prayers I just try to be kind and loving. I hope to have the same hope your mother had and believe that he will come to faith I try not to lecture and discuss the challenges of his choices. He knows what we believe. I shared with him very early in this relationship that he is looking for his happiness in the wrong places, he is not “ looking up”and I and I’ve left it at that. Your mothers prayer was amazing and with my tears I spend many hours just praying for my children Thank you for the hope. If there’s anyone that has advice for those parents with children that are dating LGBTQ that too would be helpful God bless !

Christopher Yuan has given a false teaching here: You cannot go from 'gay' to holy and bypass being straight. You cannot foster 'gay feelings or 'attractions' (what-have-you) and be made holy, even if you don't act upon them; and this is an especially wrong thing to be teaching children. Yes, it's true that just being 'heterosexual' is also not enough to guarantee a communion in this life and the afterlife. There are plenty of 'heterosexuals' who are terrible, unrepentant sinners; but that does not at all change that only straight actions and desires ('attractions') can be redeemed by God as holy. To come to Jesus and be enabled by The Holy Spirit to stop acting out on your sins is a good thing, but it's only a start, not a destination. Eventually, The Lord wants to reclaim us all not just in our actions, but straight to the heart-all the way! Amen.

Thank you for reminding me of that; but that actually works in favor of what I've been saying: Obeying a 'law', such as Leviticus 18:22 and Corinthians 1-6:9 will not save you per se, if you are still not straight in your heart. Becket, one of my dearest friends reminds me of you but he has not come to faith and the freedom you have. He came out in college and his Christian parents loved him but his dad in particular told him he just couldn’t allow him to bring a boyfriend home. My friend loved and respected him mom and dad. He was raised Baptist, lovers have come and go. He and I would always look after each other and I’m a married woman but if my hubby passed first I’d trust him with everything. No feel he’s holding on to the repeated loss and I fear I can’t totally call him out/ break the ice. He’s on😂 of the dearest humans in my life. I need to know how to reach him.

Christopher Yuan has given a false teaching here: You cannot go from 'gay' to holy and bypass being straight. You cannot foster 'gay feelings or 'attractions' (what-have-you) and be made holy, even if you don't act upon them; and this is an especially wrong thing to be teaching children. Yes, it's true that just being 'heterosexual' is also not enough to guarantee a communion in this life and the afterlife. There are plenty of 'heterosexuals' who are terrible, unrepentant sinners; but that does not at all change that only straight actions and desires ('attractions') can be redeemed by God as holy. To come to Jesus and be enabled by The Holy Spirit to stop acting out on your sins is a good thing, but it's only a start, not a destination. Eventually, The Lord wants to reclaim us all not just in our actions, but straight to the heart-all the way! Amen.

Thank you for reminding me of that; but that actually works in favor of what I've been saying: Obeying a 'law', such as Leviticus 18:22 and Corinthians 1-6:9 will not save you per se, if you are still not straight in your heart. By your own effort, you can obey a law, at least for awhile; but if your heart is contrary to that law then you're probably going to backslide, or lead others to backslide. Christopher Yuan and Becket are advocating here that parents should teach their children that it's okay to have 'gay feelings' or to even identify as LGBT as long as you don't act upon it (abstinence); in other words, to follow abstinence as a kind of law against what's in their hearts and spirits. This is actually a bad enough teaching for adults, but to expect children to gain by it???!!! Christopher, Becket: If you yourselves were taught as children what you are espousing here-seriously, would it have done you any good?

They would look at me with such distain and pity that I could be so stupid as to believe that God can do great works and heal these people. Becket, one of my dearest friends reminds me of you but he has not come to faith and the freedom you have. He came out in college and his Christian parents loved him but his dad in particular told him he just couldn’t allow him to bring a boyfriend home. My friend loved and respected him mom and dad. He was raised Baptist, lovers have come and go. He and I would always look after each other and I’m a married woman but if my hubby passed first I’d trust him with everything. No feel he’s holding on to the repeated loss and I fear I can’t totally call him out/ break the ice. He’s on😂 of the dearest humans in my life. I need to know how to reach him.

Becket, I rewatched this interview and was even more inspired! You and Christopher Yuan are heroes of the faith! You were born for such a time as this. You are cutting-edge voices! You are champions bringing reason, truth and brightly shining in the darkest of days . I had no idea how much our culture would so drastically change in such a short time. This extreme LGBTQIA propaganda has transformed our country, to one I no longer recognize. Each year, the lines have blurred to a point that a new color has emerged, one that draws the unsuspecting in and brainwashes the masses. It's frightening that youth no longer know that there is a difference between male and female or how to embrace their uniqueness. Nor do they understand that God delights in them beyond cultural expectations! What brings me the greatest sorrow, is how grown adults are blindly following the pied piper of this demonic seduction while dancing to their own demise. Only a few voices like yourself are clearly revealing, "The Emperor has no clothes." Thank you for waking up a weary, worn down confused public by exposing the charade.
