its funny that the face unmasked you sculpted looks so much more better than what was shown in the movie, wish it looked similar in features as this one. great work
TNice tutorials is much more simple than I thought with you explaining it. Currently half way through and I feel like I know everytNice tutorialng already lmao
Even though at the end, the final renders don't show the full length of the legs, my only complain is that the legs are a little to short for the rest of the body. Other than that, this is a wonderfull piece of art! It looks so awesome!
that is fine, and probably true, but if you are doing something that is not going to show some part of the body, then don´t spend to much on that part. Work smart :) There is almost no work done on his back :P jeje
The legs are fine and are a good length. The issue is that the torso is the thickest part of the model and the legs are too thin. Other than the Predator skipped leg day, it is very well done and looks absolutely amazing
Wonderful job. I always admire artists who can work with Z-brush like you do. I have been playing around with Z-brush, but i always get lost in the menu's 😂. So i did most of my sculpting in Mudbox in the past. Witch of cause is much more limited. Lucky i discovered Blender with it's sculpting option. This gave me the opportunity to make equal quality sculpts, but for me easier to work with. Never the less, great work here.👍👍👍

Google translate. Gracias .
It is, but if you really want to, the sooner you get to it the sooner you will learn, sadly is simple as that, I recomend starting with something like blender, there is a big community behind it and lots and lots of youtube tutorials about it.
Quite impressive modeling technique, very nice!! Do you do anything to maximise detail in areas without a performance hit, i.e. Keep the head separate to the body so it can be subdivided more? I prefer to keep heads separate as it allows for more detail without sundividing the whole piece, but I find this causes a seam at the neckline or wherever you split it. Great work anyway, have a sub!
thank you, if its going to be a statue, usually yes, its always better to have the head separated from the body. If he is not wearing any cloth, you will have a seam there. so you try to do the cut as clean as posible. But one other way is if you have the head attached to it, you can mask it, and give it a subdivition , it will create triangles at the conection point but they are not that destructive. Then every time you subdive, you will always have more polys on the face than on the body, Some times I do this with the heads and the hands.
Good job brother, I hope you keep improving. You would tell me Which application do you use to model in 3d? I would like to learn how to model in 3D for games or animations, which applications do you recommend?
Thank you. I mostly use Zbrush for modeling, I love it, its the software I use all day. Another one that you can try is Blender, that one is free and has a big community behind it.
I draw all my life, did end up going to and art school, but wasn´t any good, so I learn as a self-taught but also mostly from other people, showing how they made stuff, and many many tutorials, and lots of practice, still learning to this day
please make a video where you show the uv unwrapping, retopology, texturing and maps config on vray. These parts are always so complicated and its the most important part
Nothing of that is done here. It was polypaint and decimated the model to send to 3dsmax and there I did the render. Next time I can show that part slower . Thanks
Subscrito!

Hi, I use 3dmax, not maya, and the way to keep the polypaint is a option that you have under the decimation panel, you can activa "use and keep polypaint" for the decimation, ones you do that you have to get it back on maya or 3dsmax using a vertex color map. Good luck!
