- Starting from Victoria County Rest Stop northeast of Victoria, TX traveling southwest on US 59 & US 77 traversing through Victoria, Refugio, Woodsboro, Sinton, and Odem, then south on I-37 entering Corpus Christi, east on TX 358 and Park Road 22 until reaching the end of highway at TX 361 junction in South Padre Island, TX within Nueces County.

Lucky you. You hit the slot between lunch and rush. SPID turns into a great big mess for 11-2PM, and 4 til 6PM. Other than that it's the local's speedway.
Just to be clear, the part of Padre Island around Corpus Christi is simply called Padre Island, or sometimes North Padre Island. South Padre Island is well to the south, not too far from the Mexican border.
Padre Island would be one very long barrier island, if it were not for the Mansfield Cut east of Port Mansfield (naturally it would be one island) that connects the Laguna Madre to the Gulf of Mexico. The portion south of the Mansfield Cut is referred to South Padre (and North Padre is north of the cut), but it is especially the built up area at the very southern end of South Padre Island that is usually thought of as "South Padre," that is, the well-known spring break destination.
It's interchangeable.
Hopefully one day you can film US 59/I-69 from Houston to Victoria (or at least El Campo).

I'm not pretty sure it is. I think it's about more than 40 miles away heading to Houston too.
About 120ish miles from Houston and 80ish Corpus Christi. It is 30 miles from the coast
