  • The Margaritaville at Sea Paradise cruise ship has 4 different cabin categories: interior, ocean view, Jr. Suite, and Grand Suite. While cruising on this ship in October of 2023, I got to take a look around 3 of the 4 cabin categories and want to show you around, too! Take a look and let me know what you think of this short review. #cruise #cruiseship #margaritaville

    I did have a suite twice, when it was Bahamas Paradise. However, I did have the VIP Package, that came with Champaign, cheese, deserts, and Chocolate Strawberries. Plus, the package included Steakhouse Dinners & Breakfasts, a Bridge Tour, a Pizza/Wine Luncheon, VIP Sail Away Cocktail Party, Couples Massage, & Concierge Services.

      The Suite bathroom also has a separate shower, with glass doors: above the bed, used to be hand woven Italian Tapestry. This ship was built for high-end cruising of the Mediterranean & full World Cruises.

    I think the cabins look pretty cheerful and classy given the price. I would definitely try a cruise on Margaritaville. Even if it turned out the party atmosphere was too much for a repeat, I see nothing from everything else you’ve told us about Morgan that I wouldn’t enjoy.

    I’ve been on MAS (multiple times) and sailed in an ocean view cabin with the larger “closet” and it housed a full size Murphy style bed. It was only me and my bestie so no need to use. Soooo, it seems the Murphy style bed is available with interior and ocean view rooms. Also, as you may know, there are some rooms where the bed cannot be split. I have sailed in those with Murphy, split beds and unable to split bed. I hope this helps!! By the way, love your channel 🤗

    Ok Morgan... I've only cruised on there once .... But I was with friends... Including Tony from La Lido Loca... I had an inside cabin, and the back wall had 2 pullman beds that folded down, my friend Mike had an ocean view, and yes that "closet" that you saw, was a pullman bed that swung down in his room. Tony, well, let's just say that MAS rolled out the carpet for him... Huge suite room with a living room and bedroom that each had a balcony, they had huge TVs 8n each room, large bathroom with a tub, very nice room, not sure if it's worth the money, but the steakhouse dinner he got for us was very good!!!🎉

    I just went and had an amazing time. Just remember they will add and additional $66 at the end for fuel and service charge. It was super clean, the food was good and the safe was super friendly. I booked again before we got off

    Wish cruise lines would bring back the two night weekend getaways...!! If I lived closer, I would definitely sail on the Margaritaville at Sea..!!

    I'm paying $1,500 - $2,000 per person for 14 nights in an entry suite, Transpacific/Transatlantic cruises on Holland America. $879 for 2 nights is over my budget! Rooms look in better condition than I expected, but probably because it was recently converted.

    The arrangement in the Oceanview cabin is better than the ones I've seen with the bed under the window.

    I would have no problem sailing on Margaritaville but I think I would choose the inside cabin. I like a dark cabin when sleeping.

    The rooms looked great, nice and cheerful. Wouldn’t spend that kind of cash for two nights either…especially since that’s USD and not Aus. The sunlight wouldn’t bother me much. I normally got to sleep around 1am and usually wake up around 10am without the alarm, so I’m used to light whilst sleeping.

    I have stayed at several Margaritaville resort hotels so I see some decor that looks similar to the decor in the cabins you showed. The one thing that the hotels don't have is that ugly brown colored chair rail/wainscot. They use white colored chair rail/wainscot. That brown just doesn't look tropical! I am surprised how big the suite was!

    Considering this for my sons 21st birthday in April, for him and a friend (thats a guy). None of us have ever been a cruise, and im on a tight budget, which was the main appeal to me. Thoughts, ideas, experiences from anyone that is a younger adult. Is it more party atmosphere? Do the beds separate into two twins or can someone confirm the murphy bed scenario, whats there to do on the ship?

      @VeryunOfficialTravelGuides  6 месяцев назад

      I believe the beds can be split but I can not confirm it for you. I know I did see cabins with two beds inside. You can check out my entire review of our two days here and that may help you decide: ruclips.net/video/cXh3STDTPt8/видео.html

    You convinced me to give the Margaritaville cruise a try. I am an avid cruiser who lives in Ft Lauderdale, and all I've heard was horror stories. I do have a general question, is an excursion a must in Freeport? I keep hearing there is nothing around the port, and in order to get to the main shopping area, you must get an excursion. To be honest, this is basically a liquor run for me to bring back alcohol that is not available in the US, so I am basically just looking for the nearest liquor store. Thanks!

      I couldn't tell you if you should do an excursion because... we stayed on the ship! :-P

      We just finished ours last week and while we didn't leave the ship, we were able to see a small market with vendors right outside the customs in Freeport. We previously read that there was "nothing" at Margaritaville's port, but it sounds like it's changed. I couldn't tell you what they have there though--you might still need to get a ride out to other markets for alcohol!

    You would think they would give you a listing of what was provided when booking a room or suite if for no other reason than to incentivize one to book it. Oh, well...:)
