I have bought these Free Clips and I am happy with them. I haven't installed the Huawei software and don't see the need to. The gestures work very well. You only have to bump your ear or head twice or three times to activate stop/start or skip. You don’t have to actually touch the Free Clips to use the gestures. I like that there is no specific right or left. I often just use one, when at the office or at home. That way, a backup is always ready when the one you are using runs out of battery. The sound is good enough for music and calls. The only bad thing so far is that I need to remember to take them off before pulling a jumper on or off. You often forget you're wearing them, even when you are listening to them. They are really good when you don’t want to cut yourself off from the rest of the world.
great review , I really need your honest opinion , I have been unlucky to have lost my shokz open fit TWISE , and I am devastated , not keen to buy them a 3rd time so I am looking at other ones I really loved the bass and how good the shokz where so how are the huawei compare to the shokz in compare ?
Hello, what do you think of the Huawei FreeClip compared to the new Soundcore C40i? A comparative test would be good because the Huawei are a reference. A year separates them but FreeClips still seem to be in the race!
I got a pair of the Oladance open earphones this time last year and although I loved them for comfort and sound, they have been really poor in terms of durability, sweat and water resistance and the usability of the controls. In fairness, they replaced them free of charge (the speaker covers fell off) but the replacements have failed again in exactly the same way. It has led me back to my Shokz Aeropex and made me wary of trying some of the other open ear alternatives. It would be great to hear if there are any that have stood out for you in terms of durability.
I just got them a couple of days ago. Call quality is AWESOME. & I’m a truck driver. Everyone can hear me clear. This is the only reason I kept them. Plus the comfort and they don’t move when I talk or laugh like the AirPod pros do
Ikr. The only downside is they do look like earrings. People have to get close to notice that they are earbuds. All it takes is for 1 big celebrity in the states to wear them to take away the jewelry look. 😅
Are you sure that there is only one specific spot you have to tap to control these ? All the other reviews I've watched/read say that the whole thing is touch sensitive, and that you can tap anywhere on the ball, the bridge or the bean
What is the battery lifespan of these tinny, winny rechargeable batteries inside these devices? I doubt they would remain even at 50% after a year. I guess you can use them as a clip on ear ring. 😅😅😅
my recommendation, dont touch the eardbuds. The headphones never fall off, even if you flip over, but if something touches them, they come off. For example, if you take off your t-shirt and it rubs against them, they come off.
Problem with these is they drastically change your overall vibe. They make you look like you have ear rings… lol from a far that may make you look like a rockstar.
You are wearing the free clips incorrectly. It's amazing how all the "influencers" , influencing people to wear these wrong. The speaker is supposed to be outside your ear cannel 😅😅
Huawei the others are too big clip on your whole ear. good for people wearing glass they meant to wear it for long period of time . for the best sound get the head phones

I know they’re not the same technology, but how do these compare in terms of sound and fit to the Shokz Openrun/Openrun Pro bone conduction ones?

The Freeclips have been my go to earbuds.

You can directly hit with finger twice or 3 times. you don't have to pinch to plastic cable.
I run but also do jump ropes and muay thai. I want to buy this but curious if it will fall during my said exercises.
What about new Soundpeats ( alike Shokz design) for $50 with discount?
They should market it as smart earrings
THanks for sharing. Does it has multipoint pairing where it could connect to two devices at the same time?
It does, mine connect to my pixel phone and my iPad ❤
Yes and it works very well

I'm having it and i touch wherever on the earphone and the response is mostly instantly.
How is the calling quality on these buds?

@@K.D.51 thank you...most of the RUclipsrs are not talking about the call quality of this buds...

Call quality is loud and clear.
Ten times better than my Bose Quiet Comfort Ultras

If you want to work the controller 100% of the time, you should press on the sides 2 times or 3 times.

Los recomiendas?
Looks like they're not good if you're a glasses wearer. Maybe the ones without hooks will be ok?
absolutely no problem with glasses.
I like that their case is tiny, compared to the competitors.
how are they with winter hats?

That's a plus for me! My parents will be super confused
Why would I care about what others think?
thanks

Your review is absolutely not true. They sound very good and gestures can be controlled by tapping the cheek near the ear. So homework not done well.
the problem is that they look like earrings a criminal would wear. or a woman. What design changes could be made to make it work even so?
I don’t know where’s this guy from but…! Is hard to understand his English 🤔🤔
