@@dennismcdermot647 me too. I'm not a ballet dancer but I love the technique and small details that ballet has, it makes everything seem so exquisite and magical. I just want to keep on watching it
I love, love, love this coaching video! It's completely different from anything you have done before and it's a super concept for your channel. P.S. please do this again sometimes but I think that it would be a mistake to do it all of the time.
This was incredible to watch! As a non-dancer, the minute details required for ballet performance are mind blowing. 🤯🎇 It probably seems normal to you, but I want you to know how extraordinary you ballet dancers are! The tiny adjustment of the head so that the spotlight highlights the best possible way, aiming the arch of the foot towards the ceiling, etc. And THEN to smile or convey whatever emotion is necessary while thinking of all these things and doing all of these things and thinking one step ahead at the same = You must have the most active brains in the world! The exhaustion after a performance must include mental and emotional as well as physical! Three very beautiful young dancers and two wise and supportive teachers! I hope Pin's ankle gets better soon! Best wishes to you all! 🙏❤🎵🩰🥰
You guys are so young, but full of knowledge! Great instructors. All the critique is so constructive and kind. I hope to see more of this style for ballet in the future. You both know how to make artistry out of the steps, but you dont forget technique in the process. Bravo!!!! God bless you guys ❤
I loved watching you coach! Your notes on timing and musicality were so impactful as were your notes on emotion. You helped make the change from performing the steps beautifully to embodying the character and engaging the audience. Fabulous. I would also love to see you dance more. You are both exquisite dancers!
Your coaching style is wonderful! Using cues and phrasing to connect u til each dancer understands what you wanted. Their performances before were clean, technical , and nice; after coaching, these variations had artistry and technical excellence on display.
I don’t dance. I don’t know ballet. I happened onto this channel by accident a few weeks ago and here I am lol. I’ve watched every video now. The vibes are great here 😂
Welcome! I'm not a dancer either and I had no idea how difficult ballet was! This is one of the best channels I have ever found on RUclips! And yes, the vibes are so lovely and supportive! 🙏🧡🥰
Jordan and Eden, this was so much fun! Seeing you both in teacher mode was delightful. You're such kind and effective coaches and the difference you made in each lovely dancer's performance was so obvious. Thank you for sharing!
Talented girls, feels like all your note was about microdetails showmanship and connecting tissue. I think it’s something you learn that how important the movement between choreography and “big” steps are. You are so good and encouraging coaches!
Enjoyed your coaching. Makes all the more curious about your background. Yall make great coaches. Kind but not afraid to. Make points that need improvement.
Love seeing you coach students, all of you did a fantastic! There is so much details and tiny things I would never think of but once you explain them they make a lot sense. Thank you for sharing your art
I've seen this video at the perfect time! I've been remembering what it felt like to learn a classical variation (the one I performed for YAGP was Esmeralda) and I've been trying to put together workshops for the ballet club I'm in to bring the joy of feeling like a professional version of a character to them. Teaching makes me nervous, but you both do an excellent job and makes me feel more confident and analytical when I need a boost. Also the dancers absolutely shine in the variations they've been working on!
Amazing video. Funny coincidence it comes out on the day a prevalent thought of mine (since I spend a good chunk of the past two days watching the Universidade winter games) was Daniel Grassl needs actual ballet coaching for that Billy Elliot program because he's not convincing anyone he's the dancer he's meant to be portraying. I'd be so curious to see what notes you'd give him beyond the obvious of 'actually point your foot when the VoiceOver says point'.
It was awesome to see you teach and have fun with it! I'm a dance teacher and gave my very first one on one private lesson today. It was challenging but I learned a lot and got through it - it was cool to see your approach to "private" coaching.
Such beautiful dancers! Props to the Academy and their teachers for the training and the excellent choice on variations - they really fit each dancer's talents and personalities like a glove! Wonderful coaching! Your insights are extremely useful - can't wait to put them to use myself.
So this is what it would be like to learn ballet from Jordan & Eden. :) So cool and interesting to watch you guys coach these amazing ballerinas in these fun variations! Ya’ll are so young yet so masterful at your craft. I can’t dance actual variations, but I kept imagining what it might be like if you guys started critiquing my barre and center routine hehe
Y'all are excellent teachers. You explain why you're doing something and you do it in a way that isn't intimidating or belittling. Just fantastic.
It's fascinating to see the interplay between technique and artistry. And the dancers learn so quickly!
These are some BEAUTIFUL corrections 10/10 love this omg
Always enjoy learning from y’all. And I don’t even dance.
Aww thanks!! ✨
Sameeeee
I agree! ❤
You and me both
