Impossible Mission is a gem. In every meaning the best of the bests !!! I like the games from this period , (especially I was 14 years old, and got a brand new C64 at 1984 !!) because the games of this era were not overcomplicated. Later games resembles more a tech demo, with parallax technic, and multisprites (more than 8 sprites on the screen with intermittent ), and advanced music, but lacks the playability.
It was 'next level' compared to most of these games, ditto Raid over Moscow and Ghostbusters. Impossible Mission had speech!?! - nobody had ever heard any kind of 'realistic' human voice come out of a computer before - it was incredible, and the game seemed so classy and expansive - the animation was really good, literally the best animated human character anyone had seen at that point - the AI was hard and felt like it was really out to get you - the computer terminals interface added another layer to the gameplay - really a great game - I don't remember ever finishing it either..
This is an excellent selection of games from 1984. :)
Thanks for watching and your kind comments.

Thanks for watching. I agree, I was 12 and this was the year that we got the C64. Happy days!
