Yes a solid entertaining fighter, him vs. Sean O'Grady would have been nice, and he was signed to fight A. Pryor after he fought Bramble, but we all know how that one ended, so no fight with Pryor for the Ohio Champisnship.
CHINGO DE MECOS My grandpa fought Espana and won in 1978 in maddison square garden. So I guess thats cool, but theres no info on him except one page lol. He still boxes good he played with me and my aunt. Very fun times. :)
Such a genius boxer lost a chance to be more great boxer after tragedy. I watched the match against Kim on RUclips and it was amazing game for both fighters but the accident really sad story.
I have great respect for Ray Leonard as a boxer. Sugar Ray has he heart of a lion and some of the fastest hands ever. But Ray absolutely sucks as a commentator.
I couldn't agree more. HBO wanted him to take some broadcasting lessons but famously, he refused. Terrible diction, syntactic mistakes all over the place and weird metaphors. I wish I had a dime for every time he said "(Fill in Name)...came back very schrong." He stopped just short here of predicting a first round knockdown, something he did in almost every fight in his early commenting career. Then there's his pronunciation of Heaaaaad and Leaaaaags...so annoying, street and unprofessional. One famous fight quote..."he's so much quicker...he's so much agile...and he's so much accurate now" describing Douglas vs. Tyson. Great fighter and an awful broadcaster, as you said, but he picked up checks for over 15 years doing just that. He should have paid Roy Jones Jr. to be his tutor!
Ray Mancini and Marvin Hagler the Two best of my generation..always forward never back..
Mancini was great to watch. Thanks a lot.

I was here.
It must have been great for Mancini fans to watch him outclass the number one ranked Ernesto Espana
I remember this fight was the talk of Warren for weeks!! I think my dad went to this fight.
32:16 how can the ref stop the fight 2 seconds after the bell ends the round?
The last fight before Mancini weeps a tragedy 😢 🥊

Había sonado la campana ?
Yeah but no one heard it.
Espana looks 57...not 27.
Ray Mancini overrated....Edwin Rosario would have to the over rated Mancini
Epana was probably 37.
What the hell's that thing on Mancini's upper lip?
The referre stop the bout after the bell sound, España was robbed
