@@Fakename70From what I understand , at least 4 of the original Sweet Water members (minus Dudley Taft?) all went to The Bush School, and most, if not all, graduated in 1987. Chris Friel did NOT attend The Bush school, though DID attend a Washington High School with another U.S. President's last name (Roosevelt). Both Dave Dederer of PUSA (1982), and Chris Ballew of PUSA(1983) also attended The Bush School. Chris Quinn attended Garfield (another President) High School. Seems to be a theme here.
@@SunRider69 His name is Chris Friel. He is a very well known drummer in Seattle bands from the mid 80s on. He started in a band called Shadow, with his brother Rick (currently in El Steiner- Chris, also), and Mike McCready of Pearl Jam. He played again with those two (and a few other well known Seattle musicians) in a band called The Rockfords. He has his own band as well, he calls it CFO (Chris Friel Orchestra). There are even more bands he plays with. He is always up to something, and plays in many "supergroup" type live performances. The bonus is, he's a super nice, humble dude that always has time for fans. There are two shows coming up next week. Will you be attending?
I played soccer against their original drummer. I was surprised he wasn't playing drums. Sounds like he has a great replacement. I haven't seen them live since they opened for AIC at the Seattle arena back in the day. I might go see them in Everett, they are playing with mud honey.
@@SunRider69 Yeah, I'll be at that show, up front, trying to get some footage. The original drummer is Paul Uhlir. He was at the Bush School show (the one we're commenting on), and actually played drums on a song. He also plays drums on a few songs at the Crocodile show on my site. He continues to have a good relationship with the band, and was told by Chris that any time he wants the position back, he can have it. A very decent offer. Paul is also a very nice guy. He once randomly offered to get my original self-titled New Rage Sweet Water CD signed by himself and the rest of the band, by contacting me on FB messenger regarding my post on the Sweet Water page. I thought that was pretty freaking cool.
Love these guys!
Credo rules! Of course, so does Adam.
@@hodawg7762 Wait until you meet the other two! All great dudes.
Did Quinn go to Bush, too? Would've been mind-blowing to see him up there for a tune with Paul off SGM's 1990/1991 3-song demo cassette.

@@derrickmiller3562 Taft is from Texas. If Quinn went to Garfield, he might’ve been there the same time as I was.
Opened for them at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland a thousand years ago. Good times.
@@rohnleidigh213 They're playing tomorrow night with Mudhoney, In Everett, and Saturday in Olympia. You should come up and see them.
Whats with the audio
@@mmmadog A bad cord/connection somewhere, I suppose. Possibly an old classmate pulling a prank?
Who is the drummer?

He's a very soccer player too. Always a tough dude to play against. Respect
