    This is indeed very interesting!
It also explains why Generation 2 originally used the original attribute symbols for the factions, and the Subterra attribute symbol for Aurelus, as they in-fact had the rights to those!
The only thing I wish we could’ve learned is more about the cancelled Generation 2 TCG - I would’ve loved to have learnt GG’s full name, and more specification as to when it was indeed cancelled, as while both of these are things that, while the people on the wiki are able to speculate on, we don’t know exactly what was happening behind the scenes there.

Most likely, spinmaster decided to cut it simply because they do t know how to do tcgs. Remember, it was all done in-house instead of partnering up with a more established company that does tcgs. The card quality was low, most cards did was basic stat boosts, and they even left ideas behind instead of building them up. Also, the factions' identities, while there in the beginning, began to wain as the sets were released. Also the how badly Aurelus was designed. With little to no support, that faction died when year 1 ended. Then, the gimmicks being used to replace the previous years' gimmick.

1:30 wasn't the original anime available on Amazon Prime, a streaming service? Doesn't this contradict the statement?
I vividly remember the classic series being on Netflix as well.

If you can, please tell your anonymous source that collectables for adults would be incredible. First idea: the original toys.
    Drago
    Delta Drago
    Skyris
    Tigress
    Hydra
Bro. People would pay a lot for those
