"English possessions" is a bit vague. The Angevins (and even, more broadly, the Plantagenets until the 5th century) were more french than english culturally. And, on the other hand, all the Norman's and Angevin's possessions in england were always (I think) "personal", so never subjected to the kings of France's authority, unlike their possessions in France. So maybe england should not be blue arround 1066, or at least, clearer than Normandy. Otherwise, great video, thank you ^^

"English possessions" is a bit vague.
The Angevins (and even, more broadly, the Plantagenets until the 5th century) were more french than english culturally.
And, on the other hand, all the Norman's and Angevin's possessions in england were always (I think) "personal", so never subjected to the kings of France's authority, unlike their possessions in France. So maybe england should not be blue arround 1066, or at least, clearer than Normandy.
