  • Charlie Mellor, Head Gamekeeper at Peppering Farm in West Sussex, and Conor Haydon, Farms Manager for the Duke of Norfolk's Estate, describe, as part of a farm tour in June 2022, how they have given non-productive arable land over to wildflower meadows and a dew pond, and how they manage these meadows whilst still getting a return via the pollen and nectar mix. They also mention the flexibility of the Southern Water options which have allowed them to convert circa 250 acres in to stewardship options.
