Screaming at their shows may have diminished them as a live act, just as others - the Stones, the Who, and many more - were bursting through as explosive, dynamic performers. That said, footage like this demonstrates that, despite everything, the Beatles could still cut it on stage. And in terms of collective charisma, they really were something else.

The song was commercially released 59 years old this month. John Lennon thought that, not only was it one of their best songs, but they all loved doing it in concert. Here is his quote : John Lennon, who criticized the performance and sound of many of the Beatles' biggest records, was especially proud of “Ticket To Ride."
Wow it seems it's John's world and everyone else revolves around it.... John is soooo cool..... even Paul seems to be looking up at him. You can tell he's a giant in their eyes.
They were real with raw talent, non-autotune singing, & no "smoke & mirrors" on stage. That's why they are still the best 60+ years later/54 years after they broke up.
This was the best song. Caught the Beats in their prime. Still in their uniforms. The prime. The seventh. After this it was all downhill. I was a Beatle fan when this song was alive but after it I went away to Desolation Row,, And everything Dylan or else Aftermath and later Strange Days.

Someone’s guitar was out of tune herr but the Beatles didn’t really care about their live performances by this point. Epstein turned them into a visual attraction instead of focusing on the music. That’s why they quit touring. If Epstein had updated their concerts to small venues without screaming kids I guarantee they’d have kept touring. They’re still awesome though regardless

John’s biggest accomplishment is being able to chew gum while singing.
And don't underestimate Ringo. Chewing and playing drums😅
It's easy ... on speed :)
I was just thinking, he’s even chewing gum during Ticket To Ride. The best in the world & always will be.
Chewing gum keeps the mouth moist while singing. Check out Greg Lake from ELP when he sings.....
