This is an 11 hour late Amtrak Southwest Chief 4 arriving at the Naperville, IL combined Amtrak and Metra station on the BNSF Chicago Subdivision at 1:08am on June 16, 2024. This train originated in Los Angeles, CA on June 13, 2024. Mechanical and signal issues along the route was the culprit of this significant delay.
(As a side note, we don’t cover too much Amtrak. With ‪@MetraBNSF‬ unavailable on this night, we were given the opportunity to cover this late running long distance train)
