Hey @Dee Bee Geek, how ya' doin' man? So real quick, to get rid of those pesky micro stutters, you'll have to set "max framerate" to "60fps" in the video options. I had the same thing happening until i changed it to that. Yours is probably automatically set to "unlimited" which causes some hiccups here and there so just change that to 60 and you will be good to go... Hope that helps

I've always thought that the reason Oscar is so hard on JD is because he KNOWS who his father is, probably even met him since he was a Gear during the Locust war. So he's expecting JD to live up to that bloodline.
And Marcus' entrance into this was as epic as I was hoping. Definitely the best sequence in the game.
Weird to think that the weather of Sera, a world which has "razorhail" *got worse* in the decades since the original games, giving us windflares and lightning flurries.
Just in case no one here has played Gears 5 yet, I'm putting an atmospheric spoiler warning! :)
It's because of the lack of Immulsion in the planet. It completely turned the world upside down, oceans became deserts, rainforests became snowy wastelands, it's a mess really. Razor Hail is honestly wished for by comparison to what the weather is really like, because when a snow storm hits, it rains gigantic ice spears, the desert has fire tornadoes, and then as shown here, thunderstorms attack with pillars of lightning bolts.

Marcus being pissed about his tomatoes or "Dom's Toms" is a callback to gears 3's intro when the lambent are destroying dom's tomatoes on the ship and Dom is throwing a similar tantrum:D.
As someone who lost his mother a few years back, seeing JD at Anya's grave always cuts deep, thanks for the video man, love this game and you! ❤️

Gears characters appear in a really great fighting game that Microsoft owns, and that's killer Instinct, the character is Raam and actually the Arbiter is in that game too. COMBO BREAKER!

Cant remember if you mean del or JD its not really killing off established characters, usally when people say "disrespecting the legacy of the old cast" they mean something like marcus getting killed 10 minutes after being reintroduced in gears 4 del or JD dying in 5 isnt really that because they are characters from tge new trilogy having that said i think that by the end gears 5 and especially gears 6 the "legacy protecting" on the old characters are worn out meaning id be fine with any of the old characters dying in gears 6 (tho not all of them)

It’s a little surprising to me that they made the motorcycles look the way they did because I think sometime around the release of Gears 3 or Judgment, the studio contracted the son from American Chopper (this was when they had their feud and split into two companies) to build a custom Gears inspired bike to celebrate the release. I mean maybe there was copyright issues or whatever but you’d think after getting a kickass vehicle that’d totally fit in the Gears universe that they’d replicate it as an in game model

I don't think you know this so i'll put it here; some weapons (like the pistols) have a secondary zoom-in feature by clicking in one of the sticks, it's not much, but its still helpful

Once, fucking once I was close to finish this game in Inconceivable and in Ironman mode. I was killed in the last wave of Horde like mission in Act V. Since then, I've never been able to reach that part ever again.
