2 SP down and 2 all stars down for the a long time. Considering it could have went way worse due to our crippling injuries. We are in a decent spot. Not good not bad. But pretty decent.
ummm, based on the posts Ive read, I get the impression that some fans have forgotten we have 2 1/2 months to go...so in that sense, being a game out of a WC spot is nowhere near worse-case scenario. And Im sensing that the guys believe that with Tatis, Musgrove/Darvish coming back, they may feel they're the best team in the WC card race. But the variables cant be denied. Tatis has to come back swinging right off, and we really dont know if Darvish is coming back at all. So, Im not hugely worried about the offense. Its the pitching in the pen and in the rotation that worries me..and if Preller wants a Crochet or Skubal, there's no way in Hell, he gets either one of them w/o giving up a Salas or DeVries.
