Oh my gosh ,Thank you so much for this video.I made it for dinner tonight and my husband loves it.🤗👏I've tried a couple of the Cottage Pie recipes but this is a winner!!!
Every video I watch by you makes me wish I live with you. It not wven 10am here and I am craving Cottage Pie like mad. You rock Sauce & Gravy Master!!!
Haha. 🙃 My silly typos are indicative of just how swooned I was by this recipe that morning. With good reason... I did make it and it's WAY better than my mind's taste buds imagined. If you're reading this? It's not hard or pricey and you should make it. You'll be glad you did. I'm already ready to make it again. Five stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Cottage pie. Yum Ever since Covid I can’t do onions and ground meat together. So I cook onions and remove from the pan. But then I re add after. And I don’t know what happened but I’m just glad that I don’t have it smell like trash can. This is true comfort food. Oh I put a layer of cheese between gravy and potatoes to keep the potatoes from sogging out. I like to fork it in too so the potatoes get little crispy bits
Yes. Lamb is a much leaner meat so it won't be as fatty and render so much grease so it can actually be cooked less typically, unless your higher elevation in this case stoves work different
From what I've read, shepherds pie was made with mutton and not lamb. The lamb was too expensive for the shepherds to get to eat themselves as the well-off folks wanted to eat lamb, and they were willing to pay for it, but since they had little interest in the mutton, the shepherds were given that to eat.

delicious
Good morning, this looks amazing, not dry :( with added spices and herbs will be delicious. Thank you for sharing, enjoy.
Johnny Mac rocks!
shepherds pie is made with lamb cottage pie is made with beef
Why soya sauce🤔 very interesting.
Honest question, I think your recipe is amazing😊
It adds a nice well-rounded taste to the dish - less bland of a gravy. I hope you have a chance to try it out. Thanks for watching 👍
Yeah that gravy was way to loose for the average consumer. I suggest a tighter gravy, one that can be plated without falling apart.

Thanks for another great recipe. I like that you cleared up the whole cottage pie vs. shepherd pie thing. Look forward to giving this a try.
Oh hell yes, nailed it! The pie needs the sauce for sure, else it is (as I call it) twig pie.
Wow
😂 I dig your cutting board.
Good one, thanks again.
I love this with ground lamb also, and I do like mine a Little bit thinner sauce but I make homemade biscuits with it as well, soft sticky rolls mmm.
That sounds delicious 👌👍
What size pan are you using? Looks delicious.

What temp oven?
He said 400F for 20 minutes.
Seems to be too much gravy for me
