- In this video I show the new Go Tubeless kit from Exceed Innovation, how to fit it to your water fed pole and how to fit a Uni-Valve.
This will tidy up your window cleaning van, extend the life of you rectus fitting and speed your work up as it stops you hose from kinking and twisting when you wind it up.

Been using this system for a couple of months now and it's great the only issue I've found is the protective sleeve has split on the short pole hose exposing the pole... so I'm assuming it'll last a few more week before the hose splits.... this really needs looking at as i wouldnt expect to have to change this on a regular basis... I've emailed the company to see what they come back with!

I spy the xline flocked brush, I use that on leaded windows and the dual trim mono brush on everything else. using the rinse bar both 35cm. also hot/warm water around 45-50c in tank. heats the ova 8 pole up nice so barely use gloves anymore. not on tubeless may have to go down that road. just use an inline tap fitted to base of pole and a loop of pole hose. had same set up 10 years plus so hard to break the habit.
Sounds very similar to my setup. I used to be the same. I had used the same setup for years then when I started making videos I started trying different things and found small tweaks could make much more money
I think I like the older kit that hole up in the pole.
The good thing about this one is its easier to fit and will fit a greater range of poles. 👍
Hi Dave great video, love the idea of this and have just fitted but the univalve doesnt turn the water off when the pole is extended on 4 poles, any idea
Check that you don't have it to tight when fully extended
Hey dave, great video as always....I use my gardner backpack quite often is there a way to use this system with that, or is it limited to the pole and the reel.... if you get what I mean ?
Yes mate you can use it with the backpack no problem at all

I think it’s the same thickness but slightly shorter. He is having some thinner ones made so they O’Neill work with the Ova8

Yes it’s slightly more difficult to use but it fits on a great range of poles
I got really excited I thought they had finally sorted one for the ova8 😭

What i want to know is i have the ova 8 pole, i have it set up for high reach pressure washing. is there a connection i can use, so when i want to swap the pole from high pressure to soft washing with just a quick connector
You would probably be best asking someone like Rutland pumps as they know there stuff
With regards to a gardiner backpack, do you know a easier way to connect to tubeless as I've just brought all the tubeless stuff and forgot I have 2 backpacks
can I ask why don't we just use a john guest fitting to attach the pole hose and the reel hose together?? instead of the reckus fittings,I'm sick of been up on a roof and when I'm pulling the hose up the reckus fitting detaches

Do you grease up the male rectus?
Can you change the male rectus or is it moulded in? Just thinking about the wear on it if scrapping across the floor if you don’t extend the first pole section up to protect it.
It is all moulded in which would make it more expensive to change but the moulding will protect it a bit so it should last longer
I have an SLX 25ft but also carry 2 extensions - what’s the work around for the end caps if I have tubeless but then need to put an extension on my pole?
You would need the end caps to fit the extensions then slip off the bottom end cap and put on the extension which has the correct one on it.
I’m really struggling to see the point.. basically your pole hose has been cut at the bottom of you pole, and you reel it on with you reel hose. Wouldn’t it be better just to have your reel hose going up the inside of the pole?
I’m sure I’m being dumb but how do you extend the pole with this kit Dave? Thanks for another great video :D
When you extend your pole it just slides up the inside. Not for the Ova8 just yet but will fit most poles
@@squeakycleandave1 that’s what I thought but I wasn’t sure if the cone shaped bit would get caught up in the pole. Obviously that’s the idea of the new butt cap.

I've converted and finding that the ejector sleeve is stopping the pole to extend fully. I have the phantom hybrid 22, pretty similar to your pole I'm sure.
It's like the ejector sleeve is too big as it slides up the pole fine, until it gets to pole No2, gets stuck, then ejects itself when I try to pull it back.
Am I doing anything obviously wrong Dave? Just thought I'd put it to a pro...... 👌 cheers
It’s not something I’ve had a problem with personally. Might be worth dropping Exceed Innovation a message and asking them.
They are bringing out a slightly thinner ejector sleeve soon which might help

Check your pole section. Does it have a plastic insert at the base of that section. If so, it’s that that is stopping the ejector sleeve from going any farther and disconnecting it. I used some narrow pliers to pull the plastic insert out of my 25ft Phantom hi mod.
I’ve had exactly the same problem, and I’m pretty livid about it after spending so much time using the full tubeless kit with a slick connect on connecting it all up to my hose reel and then finding this was happening, I noticed if I put the sleeve in the top of the section 2. It goes down fine, but I did have a go with pliers trying to pull that insert out but was afraid of doing some damage. The other thing I was thinking of was probably take section 2 out, take off the clamp and turn it upside down.
Where'd you ge the blue hose? Will it fit 100m on a claber reel?

It’s a bit of a mixture. It’s a Euro thread gooseneck bottom half with a Ova8 gooseneck top half and a Ova8 swivel

Hi Dave. Recently bought tubeless kit, really like it but the grey sleve protector that covers rectus connection at bottom of pole, I find this slips of and runs down the red hose during jobs. Anyway to stop this happening. I thought a little screw in sleve would be much better if they were to improve on this in the future.
Might be worth dropping Exceed Innovation a message. If people don’t let them know they can’t put it right
I would probably wrap a piece of insulation tape around the inside to tighten it up rather then put a screw in as itmay catch the hose and put a hole in it
Just told Exceed what the problem is and they said to email them and they will sort you out.

what if you have to extend the pole? what happends then? will the fitting unclip inside the pole and so on?
No. Its designed not to unclip inside the pole.
Does anyone know if having the uni-valve positioned higher or lower inside the pole makes a difference to its longevity or usability? TIA!

The red bolts are made of paper , I feel it’s not very strong when I am cleaning and I only have a 18 ft one , I have a gardeners which is years old and chunks missing etc but still going no problems, I also brought a xline nano that’s even worse breaks every 4 weeks
