You're the only reactor I've seen that connected the end of this song to the beginning of MTBMB. I was hoping someone would catch this, and of course, it was you. Love ya Knox

Anyways, love you’re breakdowns dude, always gain a deeper appreciation for songs after watching them.
Em releases an album full of lyrical and sonical bangers then releases another album full of lyrical and sonical bangers on the same concept and makes it the B side. No one else is on his level.
@@paul_warnerunfortunately everyone always hates on him nowadays it’s become a trend. I thought both sides of this album were insane. I really hope it wasn’t his last solo project. I mean he has nothing left to prove
Thats why i praise Eminem, his music actually makes u think. Thats the art of the music u listen to the lyrics and the vibe and get slowly lost in it with thoughts and feelings. If some of u people feel like this while listening to a song you know thats your shit.
I enjoy your thorough breakdown of not just the lyrics, but also the production etc. On another note though, this reminds me of Space Bound so much (his relationship with hip-hop), but with a timeline of Revival, Kamikaze and ending (with an intro) to the MTBMB album. The abuse he gets from other rappers/fans of hip-hop, especially for Revival, "people don't like us together, but like we care", either the racism from people like Lord Jamar or just disrespect from others, mentioned how he got "her back" as in music/culture, while "she" stabs him in his, build up/push around etc., people from "his camp" (like Snoop) suddenly taking shots at him, the disappointment of Stans (MGK, Tyler the Creator) turning on him etc. Then comes the second verse, with Kamikaze, where he responded to all the hate from Revival, suddenly half of the people who buried him love him again, yet all he wants to do now is just punish everyone (the Imagine Dragons bars, as his mindset went back/to toxic) and continuing with the bars where he mentions "as I stab I'm laughing", "no turning back, I'm blacking", as in he dissed everything and everyone except couple, killed the game. And at the end, the link to MTBMB, as in the next evolution of Eminem as an artist, with the different beats, flows etc. Maybe I'm reaching, but for some reason it makes perfect sense in my head.
“Imagine dragging.” (Imagine Dragon) How the fuck Em come up with these shit bruh. I legit had to listen the song like 5 times just to caught that line.
The 'deliver then pause' Em has been using in his recent music is to hopefully bring in more listeners that can appreciate lyricists. He's probably realised that too much went over peoples' heads before. He's almost single handedly trying to bring some respect back to wordsmiths.
I love how production gets Knox hyped up. I sit there waiting for it like i bet these parts will catch him. Never fails. True musician! And artist and reactor.
This seems to be a song dedicated to his relationship with rap. Since this is music that rappers are getting murdered by, maybe he's saying he's killing the rap game cuz it hates him. He's made such metaphors before like in 25 to Life or Seduction
Yeah there's always that possibility. Also, "I'm stuck in this RadioActive Pattern" (R)adio (A)ctive (P)attern. Not sure if this is a stretch, but he can also be indirectly referencing to how he's stuck in this rap game. It further establishes the double meaning of the song.
@@afnanqazi Great catch. Also, if you google for "Rap" the summary blurb has Em's picture as the first Artist in the list, thus under her thumbnail/spell.
I'd be shocked if Em didn't know that before putting this song out. I think Em mentioned NF in The Ringer because of NF saying "I'm not a Rap God; I don't need you people to bow to me." Some people thought that this was a shot at Em. I think that NF said it innocently; I think he was trying to say that he knows he's not a god in the rap game (a.k.a. not as good as The Rap God, Em), so he doesn't think he should be worshipped. He just wants to let people know they're not alone. In When I Grow Up, he says he may not be the best in his field, but he's going to die real, which I think supports my theory. I don't think NF's TEAM line in Returns was a shot at Em either. I think if he referenced Em at all with it, it was to say that he sees himself as an apprentice of sorts under Em. I hope that the use of this sample was somewhat of an olive branch where Em already made the point, "Be careful how you say shit that might come back to me," and now, he's showing he respects NF as an artist.
@@rickyst.augustine4476 lmao what?? I was agreeing all of it until the last part of Eminem sending a super micro message through a common scream audio..
@@rickyst.augustine4476 also the team line isn't a shot at Eminem as in the next line he says "sometimes it feels like it's only ME" however the rest of many lines has kamikaze references

Great Breakdown! Also, "I'm stuck in this RadioActive Pattern" (R)adio (A)ctive (P)attern. Not sure if this is a stretch, but he can also be indirectly referencing to how he's stuck in this rap game.
Em also says “I’m under her thumbnail” (if you look up his music discography his music would be filed under a thumbnail), “one minute she’ll build me up, the next she’ll push me ‘round, probably why she calls me dumbbell, she lifts me up then puts me down” (half the rap game loves him and the other half wants him gone), “as I say goodbye to the love of my life” I don’t think he will love anyone as much as he loves the music.
I realised I enjoy watching this channel more for being able to see the sheer joy and pleasure that Knox gets out of listening to some really great songs as a fan himself. Adding the technical analysis afterwards to really see what's going on behind the lyrics is icing on the cake for me :) Keep doing what you're doing brother. Much love!
Alfred’s theme has been a challenge for every reviewer because it’s doubles nonstop. His first verse is an understatement once you get halfway through it you’ll see

This is one of my favorite songs on this album because of the wordplay, scheme and how he got the scream at the end together with what he was talking about
This album is one of those where you have to listen to every track back to back in order coz most of the songs run into the next. Like the intro runs into this song and the end of this songs runs into the next. Also the radioactive verse can be taken as saying somethings toxic. Since radioactive material is also toxic material and their symbols are similar if not the same
Hey Knox just want to say you are my favorite reactor! I really appreciate your take on the production side of things as well as the masterclass breakdown of the bars. Always refreshing to listen to someone who thoroughly has passion for music. Keep doing your thing man.
I was like 😳 when I saw you catching those imagine dragon songs 😂 Dude you're absolutely one of the GOATs in song breakdown and dissection. Thanks for sharing this talent with us.
8:06 "Switch" is also a S&M term, where dominant and submissive switch roles, implying that they take turns in who is sexually in charge, for a triple and a call back to the small hole and large peg scheme, where the dominant sex partner is often the penetrator (pegging). There's a pretty long S&M reference through the song (chains, love is pain, screams, sucker for pain, etc). Just a lot of sexually charged violence.
Such a simple rap but knox still likes to note every word an bar 😀😀 watching knox break down all these eminem albums im not sure whats more of a head trip, its either Ems ability to bend every word in the english dictionary or either knox who overthinks everything and catches every bar, every innuendo and every double/triple/quadruple entendre, maaaaan dont every stop.

Knox Hill, 17:59 it lines up with the title of the first song in Side A. "Premonition" basicaly saying that he had seen this coming before it happened. Mind blowing!
Absolutely gorgeous hook and love the deranged church organ melody in the background the whole time... beautiful bass walk up as well in the beat... this is SUCH a great intro song.
@Knox Hill This entire song is also a reference to the Marylin Monroe lines from GNAT about the nightmares, one of her nightmares was about her stomach being cut open and finding emptiness and nothingness. So Em is saying that this relationship is leading to nothing and it is empty.
After watching Knox hill’s reaction for straight two days, now I think I need Knox hill to dissect his own album for us ‘cause I don’t think I catch all the bars...
Damn, you giving away cassettes now too? First dino band-aids, now this? You got the best giveaways on RUclips hands-down. Mr. Beast is a close second place. For real though, I might be one of the few people left on Earth that still has a dual cassette deck wired to a mixer in my studio. That entire module just gathers dust but one day someone will need to sample a melody from a cassette and I'll wow them with my ballin ass auto reverse twin deck with 2 motor mechanism that I haven't used since 1998 lol
Finally, a Rapper that can actually break down EM's bars, and i have to say Knox Hill can Rap good very good I have already downloaded the album on Spotify, really good technical rhyme scheme's and heavy bar's whoever has not at least listened to one of the songs and give it a chance does not know hip hop.
Sucker for pain by imagine dragons was part of the soundtrack for the DC movie “suicide squad”. Eminem previously did a song for “venom” from the MCU. The DCU and the MCU are also an unlikely pair. This black magic thing also reminds me of the Harley Quinn-Joker relationship
Hey man, I dont even remember how I came across your channel, must have been recommended but I just wanted to say I really appreciate what you are doing. Ever since I've been listening to hip-hop it has helped me improve my English and I was able to tell there were some doubles/wordplay but I could not understand exactly what was going on every time so your channel is exactly what I needed. Also a huge Em fan for the past ~15 years. Take care, man.
Knox, as always love your breakdown. I think Eminem is getting better with age like a great wine. Since he has got sober his music is getting better. Love it, shady forever!
Knox just want to thank you. You catch all the shit that goes over my head, and that’s more than I ever realized till I found your channel. Quality work brother
My boy props for this channel breakin them barrz down. Keep up the good work homie. You def gotta nack for not only breakin em down but explaining it for some listeners who arent as experienced with hip hop in general. Big upps to u sir!
This whole song is actually about the music "Rap Game", I thought that was a cold scenario he set up like it was the love of his life that he just can't get away from and all he wants to really do is kill it. He touches on being white in Hip Hop "We're an unlikely pair" and how he knows he belongs in the game "I think we're soul mates". Then he touches on how people like Lord Jamaar etc don't think he belongs in Hip Hop "People don't like us together but like we care". Also he wasn't saying he's quitting rap, he was saying that he imagines quitting and just letting go but then when he comes back to reality he's recorded another album during his ranting.... I love how deep the meaning of this track is.
I just love these tracks like this, the lyrical intensive tracks get you hyped and blow your mind and have their own place, but these type of songs just give you a feeling inside that is not matched and I love these type of tracks, rap is music and art and art is all about expressing those feelings and passing them on, and when Em does it its just masterful and skylar’s voice is just kinda haunting and fabulous, love all the em and skylar collabs and I just found out people been hating on em skylar tracks and as the same with revival my mind was blown! How? You must have no emotions for you to hate these kinda tracks and revival for that matter, thats the only reason I can think of. Or maybe its the impact of social media and different channels which sway peoples perception and becuz Im outside that environment I like them very much and then find out about these opinions. I dont know but its just bizarre for me.
Alfred's Theme...but have a bottle of aspirin with you. You're gonna have a headache. Far and away the best reactor on RUclips. Keep up the good work, brother.
ty for this EMINEM Reactions its change my look on some of songs its got more meaning now coz its not my language you got one Sub more keep doing it you are great dude...
Best Skylar feature ever. Many of the Skylar feature tracks have been toward the bottom of my list but Skylar shines on this track! The blend and composition on the whole track are excellent. Love the sinister beat on this and that second verse takes me back to the Kim track on MMLP. The only thing I would change on this is maybe a bit longer or a 3rd verse but otherwise, excellent track.
"Grab a switch" could also be a reference to a Switch preference in a S&M relationship. A Switch, like the name implies, can be either a Dom or a Sub. The next line he immediately talks about getting put over the knee and getting his ass beat (with a switch). There is a lot to that line. I think it might be a Quintuple Entendre.

I already know it's going to be a great ride watching your reaction vids to this new Em project
The ending scream and body bag is seen in premonition too.. 🔥🔥
Knox ur the beat reactor on u tube I hear ems music through different ears after ur breakdowns good luck with your new album peace.
I love how this song perfectly links to Alfred’s theme with the outro of this song and the intro of Alfred’s theme.
Wow Knox! that mirroring of the "story" completely went over my head. Knox hill for the GOAT of breakdowns.
Bruh, the dumbell scheme 🔥🔥⚰
Sucker for pain by imagine dragons was part of the soundtrack for the DC movie “suicide squad”. Eminem previously did a song for “venom” from the MCU. The DCU and the MCU are also an unlikely pair. This black magic thing also reminds me of the Harley Quinn-Joker relationship
U the most real reactor dawg.. much luv homie on bro
Take care, man.
love the reaction as always!! #goat #hilltopmafia #savages
Knox, as always love your breakdown. I think Eminem is getting better with age like a great wine. Since he has got sober his music is getting better. Love it, shady forever!
Just got introduced to this channel today and I can tell I am in for hell of a ride
If he had to take the SAT’s on em bars, my money’s on you Knox!!
The depth you have explained is unbelievable 💝 much love 😍
Agree with several of the other people's opinions.. best reactions by far. Thank you man
Love GOAT reactions, dope music also. You are one of rare youtubers that can actually rap and it doesn't sound cringy
Hey @KnoxHill , is 'abracadabra' here the making of Houdini??????!!
Yeah a lot of his "love" songs or lyrical content is a double entendre for his relationship with the rap game
Keep up the good work, brother.
when em says "im blackin" as in blacking out the whole track fades for a second and its great
This is my favorite song on the album from a musical production standpoint
I see you liking that eerie voice in the background. You did a reaction to NF - Why. It's the same sample :)
You're impeccably thorough, not just in lyrical evaluation but sonically too
ty for this EMINEM Reactions its change my look on some of songs its got more meaning now coz its not my language you got one Sub more keep doing it you are great dude...
Alfreds theme

Alfreds theme
Brother you're analysis is on another level
Best Skylar feature ever. Many of the Skylar feature tracks have been toward the bottom of my list but Skylar shines on this track! The blend and composition on the whole track are excellent. Love the sinister beat on this and that second verse takes me back to the Kim track on MMLP.
The only thing I would change on this is maybe a bit longer or a 3rd verse but otherwise, excellent track.
Dude did you notice that beat scream, that scream is the same sample from NF - WHY Song
I wish he would collab with you dude, all respect to him, I just wish that you got more recognition for your music
Best breakdown channel out there! Can't wait for the rest of the then
